OCTOBER DREAM [TERROR ATTACKS WORLDWIDE HAVE U HAD SUCH A DREAM OR VISION?]

QX NOTE: The following one has a number of things I can resonate with. It comes from a collection of prophetic characters--many of whom have been through some purifying fires (not that they are there 100%!). Read it with careful discernment. We shall see what proves true beyond what's already been shown this far in 2004.

This ACPE met in Colorado Springs, Colorado for two days to seek the Lord for a word for the Body of Christ. While some of these things will be fulfilled in 2004, we feel that we should not put a specific time table to the events because of the number of variables that can take place concerning prophetic words. Two of these variables are:

1. Intercession can change the course of the events.
2. The mercy of God that is extended when individuals and nations repent.

Reformation will be a key theme for the coming year wherein many prophets will call for national reformations as in the time of Josiah.

This reformation will affect the way that we do church in a structural way as the church moves out into society rather than has primary functions from a church building. The church will be in the society rather than separate from it. Many new

wine marketplace churches will spring up in businesses across the world. Networking will take place more in an electronic way through web casting rather than physically being in one place for all the weekly meetings.

With this move there will be a strong wave of persecution from a religious spirit. The Lord admonished us not be get caught up in a religious spirit even from a prophetic stance and allow God to show us the areas where the spirit of religion was working.

We are entering into the favor of the Lord in a profound way. This is the acceptable year of the Lord. For this reason the Body of Christ should understand how to walk in faith to see a release of this favor.

Part of this favor will manifest in favor with the lost. It is a time for prophetic evangelism. Intercession has ripened the harvest and it is not the time to go into the harvest to reap for the fields are white with harvest. God is calling for a renewed emphasis on evangelism for every believer. Churches that heed this call and release their people into this call to win the lost will experience great growth.

Along with this favor, God will require new levels of brokenness and humility. If this does not happen, pride will enter into the hearts of those receiving the favor and they will lose what they have gained.

There is a time of refining coming to the Body of Christ. God is removing dead wood and uprooting old things. In the refining season, we will be brought into new levels of intimacy which will see the birthing of new things in our lives.

Great inroads will be made by the Body of Christ into media and Hollywood. There will be a wave of the Holy Spirit move across Hollywood and other media, related industries. We will see actors stand up in an increased measure and profess their faith in Christ.

There will be a power encounter with MTV which will result in children being set free from the wicked ways it has influenced them.
(Note: This has already begun after the half time show at the Super Bowl.)

A connection is coming between the prophets and Hollywood and media.

Apostles and prophets are going to see a new teaming on a level not realized before and this will lead to city transformation movements. This will include new teachings about the Kingdom of God and seeing it influence each sector of society. There is a time of shifting and transitioning taking place as God aligns His leaders for the new wine anointing this will particularly occur with apostles and prophets.

2004 is the year of the more. We are going to see a release of finances on a bigger scale than before. Whereas some have seen release in the amounts of thousands, some will begin to receive millions. We are going to see a breaking of this million dollar barrier for major projects that the Lord has put into the heart of His people.

This is a year for mysteries to be revealed from the Lord. Even as God gave prophetic revelation to his prophets when Saddam would be captured, so there will be other strong prophetic and intercessory releases for mysteries that have puzzled the Body of Christ.

In seeking the Lord for an answer as to why Osama bin Laden has not been captured nor has it has been revealed what has happened to him, the Holy Spirit convicted us that he is supernaturally being hidden by an occult spirit. The reason that we cannot break through this occult spirit is that we are not as fervent and radical in our intercession as the Muslim extremist are in their belief systems. The Lord called for a forty day fast for the Body of Christ in general to stir up our hearts in passion for the Lord and a willingness to love not our lives unto death.

Concerning the 2004 elections, there was a general consensus that we need to call for massive intercession as the case for the courts which will affect school prayer , abortion, and other serious matters on the heart of God will be decided in the next few years. There also was a concern expressed that this will be a mean and dirty election if we do not intercede. The enemy wants to polarize both the church and nation and cause wounds that will take years to heal.

A new move of Judicial intercession will sweep the Body of Christ as the Lord stirs up people to intercede for the court systems.

The Lord spoke to us through several directions that voting is a spiritual exercise. This especially needs to be spoken to the youth movements of the United States. Very few youth have voted, historically, and this needs to change to see the will of God put into place for this nation.

There is a mandate from the Lord for the youth to become actively involved in what happens in their nations. The universities are quite critical in this next move of God as to whether violence will break out again or a sweeping move of revival on campuses.

This is the hour when the Spirit of the Lord is going to awaken the prophetic voice of the youth. Young people prophesying will become a move of God that will be mainstreamed and infused in church services across the world.

With this will also come the prophetic recognition and setting into place through the Word of the Lord of the leaders in the youth who will rise to bring transformation in every sector of society.

2004 is the preparation year for that which is coming in 2005 and beyond. The first quarter of 2004 will be a time of shutting doors. The second quarter will be a time when the Lord begins to form new doors before us. The third quarter is a time to go through doors. And the fourth quarter is a time to be established for the next four years. Remember, you must shut the doors to the old to transition into the new.

A call for intercession for President Bush concerning his stance on Israel came from this prophetic group. The decisions that he makes concerning Israel will either make or break him in this coming election. As always, there is the call to pray for the President.

As we often like to do, the following series of revelations are extracted from various dreams and visions given to Bob Jones. Over the last 30 years he has cultivated his prophetic gifting and is in the custom of receiving dreams or visions on a daily basis ranging from simple words of encouragement to profound insight with significant implications. The ones that follow were taken from various conversations we have had with Him over the last few weeks and then articulated and expanded upon for greater clarity. We chose to present them in this format as prophetic “bullets” in lieu of a prophetic article in order to include more in number and allow our readers to explore the comprehension and application of them.

Focus Ahead

In a dream Bob was told, “Those who strictly observe past glory will have little expression of present glory because they are solely focused on something that is fading.”

For if that which was but passing and fading away came with splendor, how much more must that which remains and is permanent abide in glory and splendor! Since we have such [glorious] hope (such joyful and confident expectation), we speak very freely and openly and fearlessly. Nor [do we act] like Moses, who put a veil over his face so that the Israelites might not gaze upon the finish of the vanishing [splendor which had been upon it]. 14In fact, their minds were grown hard and calloused [they had become dull and had lost the power of understanding]; for until this present day, when the Old Testament (the old covenant) is being read, that same veil still lies [on their hearts], not being lifted [to reveal] that in Christ it is made void and done away. 2 Cor. 3:11-14 (Amplified)

Those who observe the fading glory of days gone by do so strictly from a misguided perspective and will have no understanding of the things that are yet to take place. Though we build upon the foundation of things that have taken place in the past, we cannot remain exclusively driven by prior expressions of outpouring and revival. There is something new and fresh on the horizon that will be a continual unfolding of the divine attributes and glory of Heaven.

Where the spirit of the Lord is, there is Liberty. We cannot allow ourselves to be content to have a retrospective point of view when the greatest glory is yet to come. The Spirit produces liberty and emancipation from the bondage of the past providing the hope of a glorious future in His rest. The Holy Spirit is currently at work equipping and supplying a body of people to live in freedom.

Focus on Light-- Not Darkness

There is an admonition coming from the Lord highlighting our need to be more concentrated on the things that He is preparing to do rather than our adversary. Although there is merit in knowing the plans of the enemy in order to mobilize ourselves through prayer and intercession to overcome his plans, it remains imperative for us to set before us the promise of Heaven for this generation.

Our secular media has become a conduit to sow fear and intimidation into the hearts of people. Likewise, there are some misguided doomsday ministries who unfortunately overemphasize the darkness of this generation without giving adequate attention to the light that will also be delegated to a prepared and set apart people. Where darkness abounds, grace will much more abound.

The revelatory anointing resting upon God's people will allow foresight into the coming darkness. However, it also permits insight into the deposit of virtue and glory to be unleashed in unprecedented measure. We cannot allow ourselves to become overly concentrated on the darkness but exuberant with anticipation of the greatness of God to be demonstrated. Light will always overcome darkness. We are living in a time of great darkness but our directive is to be concentrated on the Light. We are to arise and shine, for our Light has come.

Emphasis on Psalm 27

In 1998 Bob and I brought a word involving promises resident in Psalm 27. The Lord has again emphasized this passage and the promises that were made during that season that are about to become reality. Very often these prophetic indications are made in advance so that prayer and preparation can be offered. When the timing is appropriate, the grace is then released for the promises to become reality. The Holy Spirit seems to be expressing His desire to begin to make real the spiritual truths contained in this awesome Psalm.

Here is a portion of the original word in 1998… Once we were back on the highway it brought us to the intersection of highway 27. This represented Psalms 27. The message of this Psalm is stating that people will live in either separated fear or trusting relationship, based upon our choices. In the vision, Bob and I were directed to go east; for there would be a powerful move of the Spirit somewhere to the East.

Cleansing of Flesh and Spirit

Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. 2 Corinthians 7:1

There has presently been an emphasis on the cleansing of our spirit in preparation for the Light that is coming. The Lord is sprinkling clean water upon us that we may be made clean from our association with the spirit of this world. We then receive a new heart and a new spirit will be placed within us so that our heart of stone is extracted and a heart of compatibility with heaven imparted. (Ezekiel 36:24-27)

When this is complete we are then capable of receiving more fully the Holy Spirit within us, Who causes us to walk according to His statutes and ordinances. This is the process that makes us "bone of His bone and flesh of His flesh." From this position our desolate heritages are restored and the favor of Heaven becomes evident.

The Lord is preparing to make "known" the unknown. When our soulish ambitions and agendas are revealed and extracted, it makes way for the revelation of the Lord's redemptive attributes that we had heretofore been incapable of experientially apprehending. There is a purifying that is taking place in the spirit of God's people to eradicate mixture and extract the "alloy" of our souls. The Holy Spirit in us will reveal the nature of God that is foreign and unknown to this world.

The Bible declares, "deep calls unto the deep." The Holy Spirit resident in us is calling out for the deep and lofty things of God contained in His mysteries and divine strategy. There is a divine stirring within the spirit of man to link heaven with earth.

I Have a Dream

In one of his prophetic encounters, Bob was told that the enemy is vigorously working to steal the "dreams" of God's people. Primarily, the dreams consist of hopes and aspirations birthed in the spirit of Christians that motivate them in prayer and set them on their prophetic journey.

In the experience, the Lord expressed that it was acceptable for His people to contemplate great and lofty things that He is capable of doing through them. That is the admonition to us in Ephesians 3:20-21---

Now to Him who is able to do exceeding abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.

If our dreams become exaggerated beyond the parameters of His promise, then He will make adjustments in us that keep it from becoming vain imaginations. With the vision that is being imparted to saints, there is a corresponding faith that is birthed to see it become reality. Our adversary is attempting to bring opposition to those dreams and visions with the anticipated result of birthing hopelessness and depression in its place.

Psalms 126 was given as an outline for this admonition. Those who dream in the greatness and hopeful expectation of God's restoration are filled with joy. Correspondingly, without vision, people perish in discouragement and confusion and are led into captivity.

We cannot give up the dream and aspiration of being used mightily by the Holy Spirit in the blueprint of Heaven presently being unfolded. We must also continue to dream for our children to be handed a rich spiritual inheritance.

Fireside Chat with Bob Jones

Early 1995, Bob Jones prophesied two storms were to strike the U.S. in the same proximity. He was told the storms would have prophetic significance. The first would be an indication of God’s plans while the second would reveal the enemy’s. Although he had seen the two distinct storms, the place of landfall was unclear.

During the latter days of July and early August that year, Wanda and I hosted Bob and a gathering of prophetic friends at our home in Orange Beach, AL. Our meeting was interrupted by a hurricane that entered the Gulf of Mexico.

Hurricane Erin first struck the Melbourne, Florida area before entering the Gulf. Erin came ashore August 3, 1995. The storm’s eye grazed the western boundary of Pensacola and passed directly over the place of our meeting.

Following Erin, hurricane Opal also bombarded the same area 61 days later on October 4, 1995. Opal had devastating effects with considerable foundation and beach erosion that stretched 150 miles.

Meteorologist confirmed that two hurricanes striking the same spot in a century would be phenomenal. Dual hurricanes making landfall in the same area in just over 60 days is supernatural!

Erin— the Watcher

These occurrences fulfilled the prophetic revelation of double storms highlighting a corporate season of significant spiritual emphasis. The name Erin means "watcher" or "one who is awake and watchful." God is watching over His word to perform it.

Eight days after Erin, on August 11, a beautiful white dove landed on our balcony. Uniquely, it remained although it was clearly not domesticated.

We plainly heard the Lord speaking to us involving this sign as an indication of the "Dove Company." This body of believers will emerge in this generation possessing burning hearts desperate for intimacy with Jesus.

The Holy Spirit will come and remain upon this company as they find their rest in Him and He finds His rest in them.

Fullness of Time

Many notable things are presently at the door. A renewed emphasis has been placed upon the 1994-95 revelations. We have come to a fullness of time juncture for their fulfillment. Spiritual “watchers” are being charged with Heaven’s decrees to see these words achieved.

Visit from a Watcher

On August 12, 2004 a spiritual being appeared to Bob and identified himself as a “watcher.” In 30 years of prophetic ministry, many of the Lord’s messengers have spoken with Bob. However, this one possessed an overwhelming Heavenly atmosphere that comes only from God’s throne. Bob found it difficult to function in his presence.

When asked why this was the first time he had encountered a “watcher,” the messenger responded to Bob saying, “You are living in a new day.”

Revelatory insights are approaching fresh heights through spiritual doors now open. Greater purposes are being apprehended. Higher levels of spiritual authority and Heavenly support are accessible. It is a new time.

The watcher stipulated that he and others like him have been cooperating with God’s plan on earth since the creation of man. Daniel 4:13 & 17 identifies a "watcher" and a portion of his duties. Daniel records,

I was looking in the visions in my mind as I lay on my bed, and behold, an angelic watcher, a holy one, descended from heaven. Daniel 4:13

This sentence is by the decree of the angelic watchers and the decision is a command of the holy ones, in order that the living may know that the Most High is ruler over the realm of mankind, and bestows it on whom He wishes and sets over it the lowliest of men. Daniel 4:17

God alone is ruler over the realm of mankind. “Watchers” function as His emissaries to fulfill His commands and made known His counsel.

The “watcher” announced and carried out God’s seven year discipline of Nebuchadnezzar. The “watchers” observe and record the actions of mankind and promote the decrees of Heaven. It is their duty to help fulfill Heaven’s plans on earth.

Watching over His Word

Jeremiah’s prophetic commissioning is one of Scripture’s most often read and quoted passages. Close examination of Jeremiah's mandate reveals involvement of the “watchers.”

The Lord spoke to Jeremiah saying,

See, I have appointed you this day over the nations and over the kingdoms, to pluck up and to break down, to destroy and to overthrow, to build and to plant.

The word of the LORD came to me saying, "What do you see, Jeremiah?" And I said, "I see a rod of an almond tree." Then the LORD said to me, "You have seen well, for I am watching over My word to perform it. Jeremiah 1:10-12

Somehow these spiritual messengers were directly associated with Jeremiah’s commission from God. God’s prophet was instructed to tear down and destroy, but also to plant and build.

God's degrees are issued to pluck up and overthrow things contrary to His kingdom. Likewise, commands are dispensed to also build and plant according to Kingdom design. This struggle is a spiritual confrontation taking place in heavenly places.

In the economy of Heaven, spiritual beings identified as “watchers” operate closely with us in Heaven’s blueprint. The “watchers” function in cooperation with God’s people to see Heavenly mandates and decrees accomplished.

They can bring judgment or blessing from God’s throne. It is the revelation of Heavenly justice. They record the desire of God and work with us for its fulfillment.

God is sending "watchers" to co-labor with us to pluck up and gather out of His Kingdom all stumbling blocks. (Matthew 13:41) Likewise, this spiritual host will also watch over God’s promises that plant and build the way of the Kingdom.

Places of Visitation

Hurricane Erin was prophetically foretold as a sign of God's definitive plan. Both its name and location highlight a portion of His intention.

The Lord is emphasizing prophetic words regarding places of revival. The “watchers” are present to work under the Holy Spirit’s orchestration to open Heavenly doors. (Daniel 4:23) They oversee God’s oracles in these places to expose spiritual portals where God’s armory can descend.

The armory or warehouse is a prophetic depiction of God's storehouse containing spiritual provisions used in the work of ministry. These are Heaven’s war implements. (Jeremiah 50:25)

Fortunately, the Lord is revealing a present release of this dimension of His spiritual host. Promises and end-time strategies are poised for fulfillment. God is watching over His word to see it performed.

It has a collection weekly of prophetic documents as well as some worthy articles on current issues, topics.

It's a site I've found more that I resonate with than virtually any other site. I like the diversity of perspective.

I've long fussed a bit at The Lord as well as other prophetic types about the two rather contradictory themes that seem to appear in a lot of prophetic stuff.

One is judgment and one is overcoming manifestations of God's Glory--whether for the USA or the world.

Others have pointed out that it is likely to be both--which I believe. There will be severe judgment for those who stubbornly insist on remaining lost AND PARTICULARLY ON THOSE RELIGIOUS SPIRIT TYPES AND ORGANIZATIONS--WHO LIKE THE PHARISEES--ACTIVELY PREVENT PEOPLE GOING ON WITH GOD.

AND there will be many overcoming demonstrations of God's power more dramatically than ever in history--in behalf of His purposes AND IN BEHALF OF THOSE WHO LOVE HIM and who attentively listen to HIS VOICE AND SEEK TO IMMEDIATELY OBEY HIS VOICE; who are schooled and studied in His Word and walking in His Spirit.

The last 4 days have been very interesting since I arrived in the United States from the Philippines. While in flight from Taiwan to Los Angeles, President Bush condemned Israel at the UN General Assembly for not adhering the 'Roadmap', and the United States once again began pressuring Israel to concede covenant land promised to her by God. Immediately afterwards, Hurricane Jeanne shifted course, striking Florida just before midnight on Yom Kippur as shofars blew across the land on Tishrei 10.

Hurricane Jeanne was the 4th hurricane to strike Florida this year. The pattern '4' in Amos represents irreversible judgment with cannot be changed or altered. As shofars blew across the land at closing of Yom Kippur, an era for the U.S. ended and a call was issued to prepare for what is yet to come during the next three years of cleansing. Hurricane Jeanne is very small compared to many of the unexpected events which are about to follow.

But the purpose of these limited judgments is not destruction, but ultimately salvation and a call to repentance across the land. For God is not finished with America yet, but has a plan and destiny for the United States.

When you become, as you have from the beginning, an obstructionist trouble maker on a thread I felt led to start, I will certainly advise you most sternly and strongly to desist.

I was worshiping in Church. The sweet, sweet presence of the LORD was all around me. There was nothing to prepare me for the message that I received…

I saw a Star of David, blue and beautiful, rising before my line of vision. It was followed by the face of the satanic Baphomet goat head. I knew that I was once again being shown the witchcraft that is coming against Israel, and how important it is for us to pray “YAHWEH’S will be done in Israel, and HIS will alone.”

Then I saw my favorite lion. HE was thinner and more muscular looking than usual. His mane was shaggy, with a few twigs and burrs. HE looked like HE had been on a long journey. HIS eyes were piercing, as HE looked at me.

We were singing “I want to sing a song of love…”

HE spoke,

“DO YOU REALLY? DO YOU REALLY WANT TO SING A SONG OF LOVE?”

I knew HE was speaking to me about the congregation, and the “Church” in general.

I HAVE TOLD YOU MANY TIMES THAT I AM SEPARATING THE SHEEP FROM THE GOATS. I HAVE TOLD YOU THAT,

In my dream I found myself inside a church that was a bordello. There were two kinds of servants. The older ones were rigid in their ways and the younger ones not so set in them, more open and less prideful, there was still hope for them. Regardless the fact that both of them were pimps, I saw that the Lord was still using their service for His purpose. I went to them and started to tell them, "You know you have to leave this place because it is coming down. It won't be long, the Lord will tear this place down. You must come out and join those who are already out there."

They knew that what I was saying was true, (it was not new to them) they knew it was going to happen. The young ones were more open about it and they did not become angry at my speaking, but only some of them would leave the place. The majority would stay, because of what they thought they had to lose. They justified themselves saying, that there was a lot of people who needed the place open. The older ones became very angry against me and their anger turned to violence.

I asked the Lord "What words would you want me to speak to them? How can their heart be opened to you? The place will come down and bring them along into destruction. What else can be done to stop such a great loss?"

He spoke to me;

"My people go a whoring before my eyes, they ignore the Truth unveiled. They deceive themselves and others thinking they are doing what I have call them to do, but they stand far from it and do not allow others to enter or to see. I came to give life and life more abundant but it can not flow if the body is not united. They have reduced the communion of the saints to 2 days a week and there is no true fellowship among each other. They profess to worship me, but they come around to please man and promote the flesh of man. They profess to love but they neglect each other. There is no consolation to the one who weeps, there is no encouragement for the one who is broken, the widow and the orphan are plundered, the sick and the feeble are not tended to. They resent each other's burdens. They come and gather but I am not in their hearts and when they worship they mention my name but My ways they deny in their living. There can not be a gospel without the communion of the saints. I have called you to be one as we are one. They will gather together, I will make them one. They will gather willingly or I will gather them myself in my jealousy. I Am love and so intense that I Am also a consuming fire."

A Vision of Personal Intercession BY Jesus for YOU!"

Years ago, I struggled through a depression for a period of time. Because of this, I cried out to the Lord for help. His answer came to me in a vision. I had recently gone through several traumatic events that left me feeling emotionally numb; I felt overwhelmed by the reality of the painful events that had occurred.

I knew that this was a time for me to experience just a portion of the pain Jesus Himself had endured on the cross. The Lord did not allow me to endure more than He knew I could handle, but it felt like much more.

The suffering I endured opened my heart and mind to experience so much more of God than I had previously known was available to me. I found, during this time, that God is truly on my side! And His love for me didn't stop with salvation, but He continues to save every day. He is on my side, and He prays for me.

"If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all - how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?

"Who will bring any charge against those who God has chosen? It is God who justifies; who is he that condemns? Christ Jesus, who died - more than that, who was raised to life - is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us." Romans 8:31-34

I had known from childhood that Jesus loved me. I was raised in the church and cannot remember not knowing the song, "Jesus Loves Me." However, there is a difference between knowing love and feeling it. I knew God loved me, but during this time I could not feel His love for me. I cried out to the Lord to show me His love...He did.

My Vision

On this day the Lord opened the spirit realm for me, and suddenly I saw heaven. There were rolling green hills with large beautiful trees that dotted the landscape. As I stood on top of one of the endless hills, I saw nestled in the valley below a small, ornate chapel. I knew in my spirit that I just had to be there, and suddenly I was there.

The chapel looked very old, but was obviously well cared for. Through the windows of the chapel I could see a light glowing inside; I was compelled to go in. I opened the door at the back of the chapel and stood there for a while absorbing the warmth from the light inside.

The chapel was empty except for one man who was praying at the altar. An amber glow filled the area where he knelt, and I had a forceful desire to see who it was. Instantly, I was at the front of the chapel looking at the man who was kneeling there.

He was crying and seemed desperate to touch the heart of the Father with his prayers. He prayed with such earnestness, that I was curious to find out what he was praying for. He did not appear to know that I was there, so I moved closer to him. As I saw his face streaming with tears in deep intercession, I heard him say, "Father, please help Victoria." I gasped. "He is praying for me," I thought.

It was then that I recognized who this man was...it was Jesus.

"Does He Really Love Me That Much?"

The man praying in earnest was my Lord Jesus and I was the subject of His prayers. He was crying and interceding for me. I felt the love He had for me and His desperate desire that I be pulled from the depression that had gripped my life.

I stepped back from the Lord to try and process all that I was seeing. I was completely stunned. Who was I that Jesus would intercede for me and with such earnestness? Was I really that special to Him? Did He really love me that much? Why would He take all this time by Himself, just to pray for me? It was difficult for me to fathom that His love for me was that great. But it was.

I sat for a while at the back of the church, watching Him pray. Suddenly, He stood up and turned and looked at me. He saw I was there and ran to me. Falling at my knees, He reached to embrace me, but I was still in such shock; I did not return His embrace. He looked at me with such love, that I was finally shaken from my numbness and became fully aware of the love I was experiencing.

My eyes were opened and now I could see and feel His love for me. I knew then that I was very precious to Him.

You are Very Special

Why is it that if you believe you are special to God, some accuse you of thinking too much of yourself? Are we not all precious in His sight?

If you were special enough for God to send His own Son to die for you, then you can believe that you are special enough for Jesus to intercede for. He gave Himself for you once in death, and He gives His life in intercession for you now. "He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?" (Romans 8:32)

He is for you, NOT against you! He is the one trying to convince you that it is possible for you to do great things for His glory. And "if God be for us, who can be against us?" (Romans 8:31). The answer is: NO ONE CAN!

"Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?" Romans 8:35

"For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels or demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 8:38-39

"Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them." Hebrews 7:25 (emphasis mine)

You Are His Priceless Treasure

He died for us that we might live, yet now He lives to pray for us that we would experience all of Him! He saves us completely, not just at our redemption, but He desires our complete transformation. He knows this is the only chance we have of truly living, to become one with Him in every aspect of our lives - giving our all to Him and watching Him transform us into His likeness.

That moment in my life, when I was permitted to see Him interceding for me, changed my life. And I hope that reading about this experience will also have an impact on yours.

You are very special to God and He wants you to know it. It is not presumptuous to think that you are special. You are not just another face in the crowd to Him. You are what He died for. You are His priceless treasure.

UsnDadof8, while I respect MacArthur as a general rule, and while he does make some valid points, I do think he has a blind spot when it comes to the gifts of the Spirit. Candidly, there's fault on both sides of the Charismatic issue.

Unfortunately, many Charismatic churches do drift away from the Word as their yardstick to judge all supernatural manifestations. But by the same token, most mainline churches quench the Holy Spirit and reject any supernatural manifestation or deliverance ministry. Those churches are candidly ill-prepared to meet the rise of occultism in the West--a rise that is not due to people suddenly turning stupid or gullable, but because people are having real supernatural experiences. I think the Enemy, who has been careful to work subtly enough to build up a humanistic program in the West, is starting to take the gloves off now that the Church has bought into the program.

I do believe in prophetic dreams and utterances, and have received a few myself. I also believe that the acid tests of all prophecy is a) is it in agreement with what the Bible teaches, and b) does it come to pass? (In the latter case, one can appeal to the "Jonah Clause" when there is prayer and repentance.)

Nowhere in the Bible does it say that the gifts of prophecy, tongues, miracles, healings, or the like were only "until the closing of the canon." On the contrary, these gifts continue to this day, and the evangelicals need to start recognizing them, while still applying Acts 17:11.

Is Quix's dream prophetic? I don't know, but I wouldn't dismiss it out of hand. I mean to study and pray on it this evening and see what the Spirit reveals.

Quix, I greatly respect your insights and appreciate your passion, but you may wish to tone it back just a little. "SHOUTING" doesn't change minds, except perhaps away from your positions. I appreciate you posting this thread. You might find a discussion we had on this subject about four years ago to be interesting: Apocalyptic Dream/Nightmare. I don't suggest reviving it; I'm linking it here for informational purposes only.

Are these words of yours that God will abundantly confirm in due course?

We don't have to post everything we think, feel, dream. Discretion is not a bad word. You posted very irresponsibly, IMO. If you had made this assertion on a telephone, you'd have men in suits at your doorstop this morning.

I'm pinging the brass on FR to clarify if making statements like these are permissible or prudent at this time.

Evidently, you have trouble reading plain English.

I did not have such a dream. I very, very rarely have a prophetic dream.

Neither did the person who's dream I posted.

The person who's dream I posted felt that, interpreted from their personal experience of their dream that God was possibly/probably WARNING them to pray to prevent The President from coming to harm at some unknown future month on the 27th.

Some of us have noted a rise in such inputs in The Body of Christ in the last few months and particularly the last several weeks. Some feel that the month of Oct that we are now end will end up having had a rash of devastating terrorist attacks across the USA and around the world.

Such prophetic phenomena, whether you think so or not, are WELL WITHIN the Biblical descriptions of what God will do in the end times as witnessed by Joel's Scripture which Peter quoted in Acts 2:

Acts 2:17
" 'In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.

There are some very spiritual, very discerning, very Spirit filled and Spirit led folks hereon. And, there are A LOT OF VERY PRAYERFUL INTERCESSORS HEREON. It felt and seems very prudent to me to have such individuals evaluate such dreams and prophetic visions and other inputs to discern better how we are to pray to intercede for our nation and our beloved President.

Focused prayers in unity and unison have much greater impact. I would consider it irresponsible to avoid calling for such prayers or to avoid facilitating an increase of such prayers.

Jim R VERY GRACIOUSLY consented ahead of time to my posting such a thread in chat. He is well able and within his rights to pull it or do whatever he wishes with it. It's his turf; his living room, his authority. And I respect whatever decision he makes.

Dr E, you, sir, and your cohorts flood into whatever religious thread jangles your sensibilities. You then procede to castigate all who disagree with you as being beyond the pale for whatever particular doctrinal interpretation or denominational, theological, ego driven distinctive you feel all hot and bothered about at the moment.

In short order, a thread which may have been doing well or which may have had great potential for folks of like minded Biblical interests and sensibilities--becomes a dreary drag because of your arrogant and sanctimonious pontifications and diatribes. The distaste you engender is so palpable that most good hearted people just leave to avoid associating with anything you're touching, distorting and otherwise dragging down.

You succeed in silencing those who disagree with you primarily because few people enjoy wrestling with a skunk. You probably pat yourself on the back that it's because of how perfectly right you presume to be about all your tidy little boxes.

Rant away. Regardless of your successes hereon in silencing people; chasing them away from otherwise Kingdom productive and fruitful threads . . . or even regardless of your persuasiveness with your idiotic assertions about what's been posted as you try to pressure the powers that be to silence those who disagree with you further . . . at some point, God Almighty will weigh in on the topic whether on FR or otherwise in your life. You will have no appeal to any higher authority then. I hope you respond wisely at that point.

I still strongly encourage you to start your own thread and have the decency to leave this one alone that we may profitably and fruitfully sort through the vast complexities of the topic and of the world we now find ourselves in.
