Thanks!
Now if I could only find where my skull rolled off to, I'd be in good standing to chase myself about.

Yeah, I can just hear that *ssh*le's concession speech.

"Bush has not been honest and people still voted for him. One day people will see that I was their savior and it will be too late. The country is moving in the wrong direction and now the job losses will be astronomical, big pharmaceutical industries will start throwing the elderly into the sea and young children will be going to school hungry because Bush will take away their food by cutting my "allow the children to eat" program. If you have sons, be sure to start making their funeral arrangements, because Bush wants to kill them all by invading every innocent terrorist country in the world and forcing them to take part in it. Because Bush will still be president, you can expect the nightmare scenario of "The Day After Tomorrow" to come to pass because Bush will not put an end to global warming as I would have done, and he will even contribute to the extermination of millions of Americans by implementing policies that will cause an escalation in severe weather conditions. Look at what he did in Florida this fall in an effort to steal the election. He has sent Karl Rove in with his psy-ops people to manipulate the minds of the media anchors and make them say things that would cause them to lose thier jobs so he can set up honest his own people to give his version of the news. And that's just the beginning of the horrors you people will experience under George Dubya Bush. Do you people have any idea how much little Johnny and I have boosted the economy just in the purchase of beauty products alone, not to mention those awful regular guy clothes! And Teraza will have to be institutionalized because of the abuse she was subjected to by stepping up in support of my campaign and she has cut off my allowance. Well, all I gotta say is that America will be sorry it didn't let ME destroy run the country instead of Bush. There probably won't even be another election ever. George will have himself declared king....and then you'll be sorry. You'll wish had chosen John Fn!"

I went to bed at 4 am. Back up at 8 am. Still wired. I am reading and trying to post so many places. Excuse me if I put this up before...the coffee hasn't kicked in yet.
Kerry is holding true to his image. He flip-FLOPPED for the last time, though. I can't wait to hear his concession speech:

"I thought I was President. And then I wasn't."

We'll leave the light on for you.

By the way, I had a great time at the polling site yesterday. I'd recommend that everyone who has any time to spare help out during the 2006 congressional campaign and election. It really is fun and worthwhile.

California has shown, once again, that it is irrelevant. Kerry got its 55 electoral votes, and it wasn't enough.

California had a number of Baaaad propositions on the ballot. They ended up as a mixed bag this morning. The stem-cell research funding bond passed by a wide margin. However, the proposition to weaken our three-strikes felony law FAILED, which is very good news. Had it passed, there would have been about 26,000 felons (convicted of a third, but non-violent crime) would have been released. These people had two previous violent felony convictions, but their third felony was non-violent, so the bleeding hearts thought that they didn't deserve their 25 to live sentence. HELLO. These are career criminals. They are exactly where they belong.

George Soros funded this proposition to the tune of $500,000. One has to wonder why this one was important to him.

I think I just heard something on Fox. Did anyone else hear this? A commentator was talking about Kerry...possible concession, etc. He said - "...possibility of Kerry sending an E-mail, or a speech..."

E-mail! Thinking of conceeding via E-mail! Wha??? Was that right? If so....so typically cowardly.

Great cartoon. Doonesbury! I haven't looked at Doonebury for maybe a decade.

Cnn is still showing New Mexico and Iowa as undecided. They are showing Ohio as too close to call. Give it up, already. I guess they just can't let go of their dream.

I just realized this so many here seems to be on a trip of their own.

When one post something that is common ground for many, a few will follow it to see if they can re-route the thread!

Acknowledgement is hard so hijack plan is put in place!

I think what you brought to our attention was a good point!

I just wonder why some are here, if they don't want to play nice?

These are observations of over the year not one single topic!

CHOW DOWN! and knows who love ya!:)

It's pretty interesting looking at the national map. Bush won the intermountin west, the southwest excluding California, the midwest, and the south. Kerry won the left coast, the lake states and the northeast. Everything is in blocks. What are things going to look like four years from now?
