Well it seemds like some FReepers want me to shut up and NOT post on threads.
They call it spamming.
Well if I didn't post the way I do the dims and media wouldn't notice.
Just ask yourself why did FOX finally run the Steve Pitkin story today?
Why did Rush mention that Edwards never served when he could have last week?
And do me a favor, come directly to me, not the Admin Moderator if you have a complaint.
So I'll shut up and toe the line.
I'd hate to upset certain FReepers.

If you followed any of what I posted, I look forward to Tonkin's posts too; I was just pointing out the way you responded to someone who was attempting to apologize by telling him to shut up. My point was that this is exactly what you were yelling at him for in the first place.
I don't recall saying that you didn't have the right to speak up, only that the "shut up" was as bad a way to respond as running to a moderator when you don't like what someone posts...

It only takes 15 or so clicks to scroll through this post, on every thread.

If it ever changes or gets updated, I won't ever know because I don't take time to re-read it every time (like seeing the same commercial over and over on TV; after a while you don't even realize it's there, and certainly don't pick up on the message ...)

How does someone making a mistake and apologizing for it - to Tonkin and the FReeper world - make them a RINO? Screwing up, even in a big way, does not put someone in the same category as snarlin' Arlen - the RINO disease is a lifestyle, not a momentary lapse of common sense; though it is much easier to blast someone by associating them with that tag.

I always thought the "edwards could have served" was picking nits.
If I had been lucky enough to have waited 6 months for the lottery, I would never have been drafted and would never have gone to Vietnam.

"Edwards lie" about Edwards high draft number is not a lie. Nobody from the 2/72 draft(those born in 1953) was drafted. (The 2/72 lottery was for 1973 draft commitments.) The '72 lottery was conducted for men who would have been called in 1973; however, no new draft orders were issued after 1972.
edwards was 18 at the time of the Feb 72 lottery.

After the 1st lottery(12/69), there was no number higher than 125 used for the draft, so Edwards # of 178 WAS high.
