New York voters. Your vote means nothing, since Kerry is so far ahead. I plan to WRITE IN Rudy. Not that he will win, of course, but I'm hoping that he gets enough write in votes to give him a boost for 2008. Think about it. Makes sense.

You think it would be healthy if Bush won but Kerry got more votes? We did that 4 years ago. Maybe you just like deja vu all over again. One thing I do know, is that Rudy would think your idea assinine.
 And there you have it.

Sad. It's sad that a newbie's first act on FR is to post an inane vanity.

How would you like it if I went over to your board and posted messages about how stupid the smurfs are? Being a smurf fancier you wouldn't like it would you?
Now you see how we feel.

    Not really.

An important aspect of this election is for Bush to win the popular vote as well as the electoral vote - by that standard, every vote is important.

An important aspect of this election is for Bush to win the popular vote We need it to be a blowout... especially on the East Coast. An early call of FL, PA and OH for Bush will depress the Dems GOTV efforts on the West Coast - which may be enough for Republicans to take over Senate seats in WA, OR, CA, and NV.

Makes sense.Makes plenty of sense, if you want to depress the popular vote for Bush, risking a replay of '00 and what followed. No thank you.

Good point. I AM a Bush supporter, but I'm trying to make the best of my vote under the circumstances. And if I've breached some etiquette or procedure, I'm sorry, but this is the first thing I've posted.

Not that he will win, of course, but I'm hoping that he gets enough write in votes to give him a boost for 2008. Think about it. Makes sense. I'm not gonna do it. I don't want to take any chance of the popular vote being greater than the electoral vote, and having another 2000. Besides, I can't wait to cast my vote for W.

My first thought too! The comment and the name seemed to go together. Ignorant and blubbery.

I'm sorry, but this is the first thing I've posted. No shit Sherlock!
 You are a Bush supporter?
So you SAW Rudy do a tremendous job at the RNC then?
You think Rudy wants you to 'write in'?
