VANITY - Kerry supporter decks a Bush supporter
my local Oklahoma City news channel | today | me

Posted on 08/27/2004 9:41:12 PM PDT by GodfearingTexan

I know this is a bogus thread, but I just had to write. I was watching the local news tonight and it showed a videotape from an undisclosed location wherein Kerry and Bush supporters were standing side by side with campaign placards. The video begins with some short, stubby, 45-ish year old Kerry supporter holding his Kerry sign up and screaming gibberish. Behind him there is another person but he is blocked from view. After two or three seconds, the Kerry supporter - without any warning provocation - drops his sign and nails the guy next to him in the chin with a sucker punch. The guy, it turns out, was a young Bush supporter, probably early 20s, who was peacefully holding his Bush sign up at the time he was hit. To his credit, the Bush supporter didn't run away, but merely backed up and was attempting to figure out what just happened when a cop ran up and arrested the Kerry dude. A loser, obviously. Anyway, why can't these Kerry people ever try something like this on me? Ohh...I so wish I could've been that young kid. Anyway, sorry. Had to write. Take care.

The liberals claim the punch was "justified". Yeah right, like there was "justified" provocation. I was there, the thug tried to engage me and became frustrated because I just ignored the fool. And soon thereafter I witnessed the thug releasing a "justified" assault on the young conservative.

Also, the DU creeps are calling this guy a "freeper". That's what some DUmb and DUmber are saying at DU. Perhaps they ASSume he is a freeper because he stands his ground on principle and will not be intimidated by some drunken liberal thug. They really lack the essential emotional maturity and logic to speak with any intelligence. Since this is (still) a free America, I expect folks to stop acting like apes and let other people voice their opinions without fear of some random act of violence. Riots during WTO in Seattle were instigated by the Marxist radicals no doubt, but the libs need to either politically distance themselves from the fringe or take responsibility for their alliance and the chaos they perpetuate. But hey, taking personal responsibility is a conservative ideal and therefore impractical.

They say "Peace" but mean violence if it suits them. Just like in Everett last week when an anti-Bush rally member speared a Bush supporter with her long flag pole that displays her large green flag with a white peace sign. Another Nader freak of nature lashing out as if violent physical acts against the opposition is a "civil right" or somehow "justified". They intend on suppressing the opposition. Their tactics are exhibited with violence on the street or overt legal maneuvers. Especially with activist judges abusing their position by legislating from the bench like WA State judge William Downing. Such judges are usurping power from both the legislature and from "We the People". Liberals claim they believe in our constitution; however it is clearly evident that civil rights, due process and free speech are among their long list of double standards. Many liberals (socialists) prove to be such hypocrites.

Had this happened in Philly, the cop would have arrested the 20-year-old.

They have no guns, guts or brains...and they want to start a revolution? That would be like Cuba declaring allout war on the U.S.,wouldn't it?

"It's best to avoid these things. Even if you win, you could lose."

That's what I told them just before the Revolutionary War began. It was in Boston, as I remember.

Yesterday while we were countering protesters at Halliburton one of the protesters told a teenager who was with our group "I could have a lot of fun with that ass".

I did not see this happen but the kid told me the story later that evening.

Some idiot teacher at Ohio University-Eastern has been going around to all the media saying that he did an experiment where he wore a Kerry T-shirt to a Bush rally and a Bush T-shirt to a Kerry rally, and he was kicked out and harassed only at the Bush event ( story here). What he and none of the media are reporting is that at the Kerry event he attended on 7/31 in Wheeling, W.Va., Kerry supporters wearing union T-shirts assaulted an elderly Bush supporter. We witnessed it. A couple of union guys pushed the man (about 70 years of age) twice into the heavy traffic of Main Street, and then grabbed one of his two anti-Kerry signs.

What station, where, when? Give us the call letters. Someone can make some calls to the station manager and get a copy of it.

I agree. The Left is steeped in violence. From the days of the IWW to VietNam protests to the installation of old Leftist radicals into the Democrat Party core.

There will be another unCivil War in the future. I can feel it coming.

The same "peace at all costs" coddling they practice with terrorists hellbent on killing us. While you're being punched in the face (literally or metaphorically) is not the time for karmic introspection.

I say stick it in their face every time you drive! I am tired of the lamestream media and the DemocRATS 'smear the messenger' campaign?

Do SOMETHING ABOUT IT!

Do what Reagan did - GO AROUND THEM AND GO DIRECTLY TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE!

Get your own "EXPOSE KERRY'S FRAUD SWIFT BOAT VETERANS FOR TRUTH" STICKER!

I put this sticker on my truck the other day. I get lots of honks and 'thumbs up'!

The sticker serves 3 purposes:
1 - Shows visible support for "Swift Boat Veterans For Truth" to passing motorists, (encourages our side discourages the libs).
2 - Gets the swiftvets.com website visible to the public, so they can and find out more about 'Hanoi John' Kerry.
3 - Circumvents the lamestream media BIAS filter!

Made by fellow FReeper disabled vet who has a bone to pick with Kerry, like we all do!
Large (24" Wide 12" Tall) $20 (like mine above)
Small (12" Wide 6" Tall) $10
Profits go to SwiftVets.com

Ping your FRiends, let 'em know about this!

FReep mail / private reply for details on how you can get one for your vehicle!

No context in this.

The Bush supporter is holding a sign with both hands and gets suckerpunched in the face by a thug supporting Kerry.

What more context do you need?

that's odd....I've seen very few Kerry supporters I'd be afraid to tangle with....and I'm over the hill myself.

PS: Matt, I think there are plans to freep Kerry here.
