We hear...That the GOP is reaching out to Kelsey Grammer, Lee Ann Womack, Kid Rock, Dennis Miller, Britney Spears, and country stars Brooks N' Dunn in hopes that they'll lend some star power to the Republican National Convention.

In a CMT interview I believe it was. I saw them as I flipped through the channels and they promo'd the interview with politics. So I stuck around and thats when they said no.

Well that does it. She's a victim of the Democrat Smear Machine. She absolutely should speak.

I'd love to see Britney deliver a spoof of the Michael Moore Oscar speech: "We live in a fictitious time where fictitious pseudo-documentaries mercilessly attack this country's president and its All-American Red-Blooded Pop Stars! Shame on you, Mr. Moore! Shame on you!!!"

and Martina McBride amongst many others....C/W celebs usually know where their bread is buttered and genuinely share the values of their fans.

The same cannot be said for the transplants nowadays who run music row and CMT....sadly.

There are exceptions to the conservative C/W celeb rule: The Vichy Chicks (who faded thankfully), Willie, Kris, The Hag and a few others but I'd venture 80% of the performers were raised right.

Kid Rick exposes Janet Jackson's breast at the Super Bowl.

And the GOP is inviting these two examples of Family Values to their Convention????
