"When seeing Kerry I cannot help but think of the truly good young guys of three decades ago whose last impressions of their country were scenes and words of Kerry and others trashing them and the nation."Yes, I think of them, too, and I despise him for what he did. All Terrraaaazuh's gold can't put a shine on that.

Speaking of "Mama T," what has happened to her? Did Cambodia John find someone with even more money?
(or has John Edwards stolen his fickle heart?)

I heard she was on a campaign trip by herself today as were each of the Edwards. All were in swing states. They sure have been keeping her travel/speaking agenda mighty quiet.

Kerry's senate seat is safe, his term isn't up this year. However, if Mr "Bring it on" were really the sporting fella he pretends to be, he'd resign that seat and go for broke. LOL.

Speaking of "Mama T," what has happened to her?I think that she's been locked in the basement. Or maybe the attic. And John made off with her meds and used them last night before his rally.

Jeremiah Denton is a hero. Wasn't there a thread here awhile back about the California legislature refusing to honor him this year? I don't remember the details. I'll have to look it up.

He is a real hero, the man who blinked "torture" in Morse code during a televised interview when imprisoned in North Vietnam. From his bio:
Once, when Denton refused to tell guards how the Americans communicated with each other, he was tortured for 10 days and nights. By the 10th night, he couldn't think anymore. He couldnt pray anymore. Denton surrendered. Not to the guards, but to God. "It was a total surrender," he said. "If there was anymore to do, you will do it," he told God. "That instant, I felt zero pain," he said. "I felt the greatest comfort and reassurance in life that I havent felt since."
