A very stupid statement, indeed.
Uh, Al Franken? What do I win?
yes, actually she IS a genius. is there a problem with that?
Actually, I adore Laura Ingram and she is extremely supportive of the Bush administration but is echoing what many people feel.
The left attacks the conservatives and the Bush administration every day in every way. McCain going on the Today show to talk about how he respects Edwards and Kerry and speaks well of them does NOTHING to help our side. Not one thing.
We don't need to get down and dirty like the left, but couldn't McCain find it within himself to remind viewers of a few things about the candidates?
How about telling a national audience that it's interesting that Kerry constantly tells us we should have UN approval and yet in 19987 Kerry was on Crossfire and said that Clinton would be showing leadership if he attacked Iraq even without UN approval. He said the same thing about France and Germany on that show.
How about that McCain?
THat isn't fighting dirty. That isn't calling Kerry names. It's using his own words against him.
But did McCain do it? NO.
Demagogic buzz language to try and get the phones to ring.
Actually, if you listen to Laura Ingraham often or know her credentials, I suspect you may have cut her a break. Laura is quite articulate, is likely a "genius" by IQ testing standards, and a devote conservative.
Everyone has a down day every once in a while. I am sure she'll be back on track in short order.
I heard her say that, and she said it after playing the Mcain sound bite, and yes we should be out fighting and hitting back every thing the Lib's say, and Mccain woosed out on the Today Show.
Spell-checker is your friend.
It makes you wonder why Johnny McInsane can't be partisan for the President in an election year. Why is he still in the GOP? I see he's still trying to reassure the media he's still going to be their favorite Republican. No wonder Laura Ingraham is hopping mad - as we all should be at such blatant disloyalty to our ticket. At least he could find a few nice words to say about the President but can't seem to find the time. <sarcasm
I think what we are seeing here is her frustration. The left seems to get away with attacking President Bush anyway they can. It doesn't help when McCain rushes to their side.
Laura is calling it as she sees it.
I wouldn't agree with Ingraham's statement, if you quoted it correctly.
But most of us who know McJudas at all (A) were thankful (and pleasantly surprised) when he publicly supported the President, and (B) immediately began the countdown to when he'd undo whatever good he'd done thereby.
To call McMememe a "loose cannon" is to insult the cannons of the world by association.

You got me thinking about Laura so i'm now streaming her show over the net...she's sharp! talking about illegal immigration now....interesting.
Laura is a wonderful host, and very bright. She is also correct, you do not win elections without a motovatived base and this administration does NOTHING to motovate conservatives. NOTHING.
McCain's support of Pres. Bush is luke warm at best. If you heard the audio clip she played of him on The Today Show this morning you know what I'm talking about. He basically said Bush was wrong when he said "Cheney could be president" and implying Edwards couldn't.
I wouldn't want to be in a fox hole with this guy.
Actually she is brilliant. And I agree with her premise. If you're a Republican you shouldn't be saying good (or even neutral) things about John-John.
McCain is a bit of a moron, and I was listening to that show and didn't get the impression she thinks Bush will lose.
Count me as a conservative who's starting to get kind of tired of hearing the sound of John McCain's voice every ten minutes. You'd think he was the one running for President for something.
I'd rank her above Rush.
"......Luara Einstein Ingraham......."
Object of this post is misspelled.
Now, give me a reason why I should trust your opinion.
Besides she's hammering someone about illegal immigration right now. How often do you hear that on the radio?
