Absolutely desparte for something "orginal" to talk about, Laura Ingraham has just said that because John McCain did not attack the Kerry/Edwards ticket on the Today show this morning, "You can kiss this election good bye." Is there anything sadder than a radio personality that uses demagogic buzz language to try and get the phones to ring? There are 120 days or so until election day, but Luara Einstein Ingraham "knows" Kerry has won because of something that didn't happen three months before it even takes place! This woman is a genius!
And an adequately-fed one too, at that
Laura vs Anne pictures in 3.....2......1......
I wouldn't agree with Ingraham's statement, if you quoted it correctly.
But most of us who know McJudas at all (A) were thankful (and pleasantly surprised) when he publicly supported the President, and (B) immediately began the countdown to when he'd undo whatever good he'd done thereby.
To call McMememe a "loose cannon" is to insult the cannons of the world by association.
Dan
You got me thinking about Laura so i'm now streaming her show over the net...she's sharp! talking about illegal immigration now....interesting.
Laura is a wonderful host, and very bright. She is also correct, you do not win elections without a motovatived base and this administration does NOTHING to motovate conservatives. NOTHING.
McCain's support of Pres. Bush is luke warm at best. If you heard the audio clip she played of him on The Today Show this morning you know what I'm talking about. He basically said Bush was wrong when he said "Cheney could be president" and implying Edwards couldn't.
I wouldn't want to be in a fox hole with this guy.
Actually she is brilliant. And I agree with her premise. If you're a Republican you shouldn't be saying good (or even neutral) things about John-John.
McCain is a bit of a moron, and I was listening to that show and didn't get the impression she thinks Bush will lose.
Count me as a conservative who's starting to get kind of tired of hearing the sound of John McCain's voice every ten minutes. You'd think he was the one running for President for something.
All he does is get on tv and kiss rat behind.
I'd rank her above Rush.
"......Luara Einstein Ingraham......."
Object of this post is misspelled.
Now, give me a reason why I should trust your opinion.
uh you have the wrong moron here. methinks you mean to slamm this dude:jmaroneps37
;-)
If the Today Show was as influential as it pretends to be, Al Gore would be in the White House, we would all be eating Saddam's (expletive deleted) and France would be in charge of our domestic policy.
Besides she's hammering someone about illegal immigration right now. How often do you hear that on the radio?
I'll stand by my original premise. It was a stupid statement made to get the phones ringing. Talking about mccain being a rino etc. is just so much talk.
and if you heard Lindsey Graham gushing over Edwards, Savage played the clip yesterday, its the same stuff.
Don't be mad at Laura because she is saying something that we don't like to here. Indeed, it should get us thinking. Our party's political operation stinks to hell, they are terrible. Compare it to Reagan's, his was top notch. They have no cohesive media strategy, too many renegades in the party like McCain and Graham, that the liberal media will use to cloud any message the party is trying to get out.
"Genius is the ability to make mistakes faster than norms"
Yeah.
Neal Boortz for one.
Well okay but she is entitled to be a bit upset at the republican party's lack of a pair to attack democrats. No wonder why everyone was happy over Cheney cursing. Not that it's right, but for one glimmering moment a republican demostrated some testosterone.
