My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and I...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

No, not yet, but it's very overcast and rain is in the forecast. Got the movie on Daredevil, it has that wonderful group you introduced me to.

Evanescence, yes.
Amy Lee from that group is doing backup/accompanying vocals on the Punisher soundtrack with the band Nickelback.
(Song title "Broken")
Yikes, got thunder here at the moment.

Darksheare and I were working on a song/poem together.
Tell us how you like it.
Tears
Glittering tears are the stars in my eyes,
When I think of your leaving I moisten my skies.
The starlight through oceans seeps down to my soul,
And threatens my vision with loss of control.
I used to look up to a sky that we shared,
Whose sparkles reflected from those ebon-haired,
Tresses that danced in the wind of the hill,
As we listened and looked, and our hearts grew more still.
In the quiet of evening we once were one,
In the birth of the life that was shadowed by sun.
We lived for the end of the day of bright light,
For we both seemed to bloom in the cool of the night.
But the shadows cant hide that Im standing alone,
And since youve been gone Im in darkness my own.
If the sunlight I shun and its absence I fear,
I will see all the world through the lens of a tear.

Congratulations you two for collaborating on this work.
Darksheare, Bob, this work is absolutely beautiful. The graphic images are very strong. Have you any idea where you may find the musical accompaniment? I am so proud of both of you.

Yup CG, mercs of the highest order.
*chuckle*
Originally my sadistic muse gave me just the first line, and then laughed wickedly as she flew away.
(Oddly, I did write something down on my art pad about eventide hair.. and NB typed down Ebon hair.. Hmm.. My sadistic muse seems to have a plan.)
Musical accompanyment...
Hmm..
My mental image is Kenny Wayne Sheppard or Mark Chesney style voice, but singing slow in the styling of Over the Rhine's "Latter Days"

Hi Kathy, had a pretty good day, yes. Have been putting a binding on a quilt, all hand work. I am on the last lap now. I'll be glad when this job is done.
Hope your day has been a good day for you. :-)

Good nite poets
May the sweet aroma of Lily of the Valley fill your dreams caress your face tenderly lull you to sleep in the safety of knowing love...
~ Dream a Little ~ Love a Lot ~
I remember the color your hair was... the color of spiced rum With memories of you walking without me in gentle oriental rain Left me with dreams of being lost in your embrace. The peace in your eyes shone through I was lost, lost in your eyes ..........lost in your embrace... Dreams of you at Indian Twilight...

Good morning!
I'm feeling well enough to try and get back in the swing of things today. I hope you are all doing well! It has been a very long week but the doctor is hopeful my new meds will clear out my lungs very soon. :)
The Giver
Sarah Teasdale
You bound strong sandals on my feet,
You gave me bread and wine,
And sent me under sun and stars,
For all the world was mine.
Oh, take the sandals off my feet,
You know not what you do;
For all my world is in your arms,
My sun and stars are you.

Morning, do pace yourself.
Don't overly exert yourself or teh lung goo will make you pay for it.
Excellent to hear that you're feeling better!
And good to see you again!

Good morning Colonel. Wonderful to see you. Hope and pray the meds will get you back to your old self, feeling light hearted and ready to write.
What a wonderful Sarah poem today, thank you.

Thanks for the kind words. It turns out that I was hiding a case of pneumonia underneath my illness. I had viral pneumonia ten years ago so I need to watch it from this point forward.
