That's wonderful!!! I'm so glad that somebody finally noticed that you're busting your backside on less than half the timeframe given to the folks prior!

Personally, I don't think just the act is pathetic. I think his whole behavior toward you and the kids in general is pathetic. Seems to me he's just too self-centered to ever rate a great lady like you anyhow! :-)

He *had* a good thing - but *he* screwed it up Ruthy!

choppie choppie weenie weenie!!

Oh...alright...just his tongue then. That way, he can't talk to me like that anymore. Just gesture helplessly while I walk away...

It was the first time I had discussed this with the associate dean without the dean present. I have always liked this AD. She was the first person to interview me here and has always shown wisdom and integrity when I've dealt with her. It wasn't actually *said* but it was pretty obvious that she is under a lot of strain working with this new dean as well. Not good all the stress, but at least I know I've got another level of management in support of me. :-)

She don't make no sense at all...

Ofercryinoutloud... so... y'all get viruses takin' ya down every now and then?

Sheesh... toss 'er these apples:

-- We haven't had a virus interfere with daily business for three years. There are four levels of anti-virus here. Internet smtp server, internal smtp server, office exchange server, user computer, and file server. OK, that's five. I counted wrong.

-- Every one of my 25 locations has two internet connections to two different providers on a load balancing and hot-failover basis.

-- Each wide-area connection is fully meshed to at least two and usually three other offices.

-- All of this is happening for less money than our whole networking cost of four years ago, when we started the project to move away from leased lines and traditional frame-relay.

Tell her: so there. phhhffffftttt. :-)

Yup. Lord knows I gave him enough chances!!!

*sigh* I'm just relieved to know that I am free of him. I can't believe I used to let him talk like that to me ALL the time.

I think it's sad, truly. To be so angry all of the time, instead of just enjoying life and moving forward.

Honey, haven't you learned by now that there are some wimmin that you just can't tell anything?

or, you can tell 'em... but they'll never hear it?

This is why my friend Jim was off in Colorado interviewing for a new job while on Spring Break. Jim is responsible for all our IT. But, this lady is his boss. He has to deal with her on a daily basis! I feel for him!

Anyway, while Jim was on Spring Break his boss decided she was going to "fix" something or other that she'd been telling Jim to do. He had refused telling her it would take down our already shaky systems. She did it anyway. We are still recovering.

Jim took an extra week of vacation after Spring Break too. Just got back last Friday. He had borrowed my kayak and stopped by here to return it Friday afternoon. I got to be the one to tell him about the problem. LOL And find out that his job interview in Co. Springs went quite nicely. With him gone, we will be in *real* trouble!

We already do that in Texas. Whoever allowed the woman to sign the boy out, is required by state law to verify ID. Either protocol was not followed, or whoever it was knows what they are doing enough to get an ID that will pass as acceptible.

The only way that schools aren't going to ask for ID is if THEY know the person picking up the child.

WN, is there an Amber alert out yet?

Well folkses, it's almost 11 here and I've got to get to bed. Lots of payrolls tomorrow, including one new client that seems terrified! LOL!!

Talk to you later!

Ruthy, you know you are not the only one talking here tonight who has let ex's talk to us like that... and put up with stuff like that. It just takes a while to finally get to the point where you figure out that it never gets better I think. And it also takes a while to figure out all those stupid things they tell us are lies!!!

As I recall, I was just about your age when it finally sunk in for me! And I must say, all those years since then have been a lot better! It is even better to be alone and lonely than have somebody that treats ya like that. But, you will not end up being alone for long I think! :-)
