We already do that in Texas. Whoever allowed the woman to sign the boy out, is required by state law to verify ID. Either protocol was not followed, or whoever it was knows what they are doing enough to get an ID that will pass as acceptible.

The only way that schools aren't going to ask for ID is if THEY know the person picking up the child.

WN, is there an Amber alert out yet?

I haven't heard anything about an Amber Alert yet.

And I have never been asked for ID when picking up a kid. The kids I've picked up have not always been mine either. *sigh*
