May I suggest you start a new thread near the first of each month?

That should keep each thread under 5,000.

Not really. Just discussed some possibilities.

I've mentioned the biggest problem before...I (and most other members of the band) don't really get tired of tunes. There's always room for improvement, for one, and things can always be rearranged to make them "new" again. However, several of my siblings get tired of things very, very quickly and then refuse to play them...say they couldn't possibly play them well because they're bored with 'em and therefore couldn't put much effort into them.

Grrr...

There is a warning flshing across my TV screen now. Warning of storms. It says high winds and heavy rain through the early morning hours. Hmmmm....

We have waited here too long already!

Oh, I know, I know.

I still hate moving! But it's the least we can do for FR, for sure...

Well, we know about your siblings idiosyncrasies! It usually sounds like an older and more mature mind needs to get them to see things realistically. But, that's always tough too. :-)

Oh yeah... before the rain started this morning, some of the more intense thunderstorm cells generated golf-ball-sized hail, and wind gusts of 50-60 mph.

That wasn't at our house though... was up in Georgetown.

Won't be my mind!

I lost it long ago!

Not to mention no one listens to me. But I'm striving to become more laid back about it all. But it's still nice once in awhile to just DO things without asking everyone's permission. Sometimes things work better that way.

was up in Georgetown.

Yeah. Near Jarrell. Just further proves my theory that that area draws the worst storms! :-)

But who's gonna move all this furniture? Anybody know somebody with a truck?

Well, usually siblings don't listen to one another. :-)

Wonder if God wired us that way on purpose? I would still not want to have to work with either of my brothers. They think I'm illiterate or something. Bless their hearts. :-)

We're gonna use your truck. It's broken in with all that gravel hauling you've been doing. :-)

The nice thing about a big family is there's usually one person you really like. The older of my younger sisters is a pain in the neck. I don't have anything in common with her. The younger sister is really cool and I'm indoctrinating her in things I like. The bothers are - well, bothers, but sometimes fun. I wouldn't trade them for someone else's sibs.

The biggest problem is that I remember things differently...and they all say my memory is wrong. There's some things I just KNOW I'm right about...like that I never ever woulda thrown out my little brother's teddy bear because I was mad at him, laughing evilly the whole time.

But they all insist I did it, 'cause he says so and apparently remembers my doing it. I told him when we get to heaven, he'll find out differently.

He brings that up (and various other stories about how cruel I was) every Christmas when we're all together. And I know I have my faults, but there are some things I just didn't do! And wouldn't have done!

The odd thing is...the sibling I probably click with the best is my LITTLEST brother. He's only 15, but he's just...well...wise, I guess is a good way of putting it. Yes, he's often irresponsible, and I DO yell at him at times...but we also have the occasional really deep conversation, like I don't really have with anyone else now that Mom's gone...not even Dad. It's strange, but kinda cool just the same.

I wonder what he'll be like in a few more years.
