Thanks on the song parodies :) Writing those actually gave me an earworm, as I've been going around singing to myself, "There's a bright golden ring on my finger. . ." But I changed one of the lyrics from the original, from "ents" to "pipeweed", so it now goes:

I don't read Heinlein's later works because my dad (whose opinion in all matters SF I regard highly) has told me they are a great disappointment, different in style, story, and content from my beloved juveniles.

I may be missing something but I think I'll heed him on this one...

Viggo is so-so. As smellyRangerGuy, he's pretty attractive, but he doesn't clean up that well.

I don't like the elf as much. I mean, I love Elves, admire them, but even the Elf girls went for Men when they got the choice.

I've only read Heinlein sporadically -- can't seem to get into the LL series. I didn't like SIASL but I loved one of his later works, "Job: a Comedy of Justice" though I wouldn't recommend it to many Christians.
