There was a south Texas congressman who filed impeachment proceedings against Reagan every year.

Iirc, they was a motion to impeach Bush1 on the day of the first Iraq war over Iran/Contra/Mena as well.

For violating his oath of office by signing into law a bill (CFR) he admited was unconstitutional?

For failing to secure our borders?

This is all about the base of the Democratic party. They only respond to negativity as they are so wrong on all of the issues.

I just caught the end of the taped interviews that Boy George had with Kerry and Edwards on ABC.

Kerry voted for most of the systems that the Military uses.

Edwards wants to make health care more affordable (Ha, by winning multi-million dollar lawsuits against providers?)

Call me an optimist, but these two guys do not frighten me.

Boy George, now him, being presented as a big time TV news guy, is a bit scary.

Conyers is an assclown, and talks S**t all the time...

LOL! There is something so completely denigrating about describing someone as an "assclown". Perfect!

I'm not too worried about it. John Conyers represents about 1/2 of the city of Detroit. Most of the rest of the state considers him to be a joke.

Kerry said he voted for the over all budget that contained these defense items.

Here is how the process works. The congress first passes each of the items or item categories. If an item is defeated at this point it does not make the over all appropriation. All the individual items are combined into the budget and then that is voted up or down. Kerry voted for the overall budget and against every individual defense item.

When the B-1 Bomber came up, kerry voted against it. When the Abrams tank came up kerry voted against it. You can name every nearly every major defense item in the last 20 years and Kerry voted against it.

But when the final budget came up containing not only defense, but head start, welfare, social spending and defense spending, kerry voted for it.

But if Kerry had prevailed when it was a vote to include or not include those defense itens, they wuold not have been in the over all budget. They would have been killed. Just as our troops and air force would have been in Gulf 1, Kosovo, Afghanistan and Gulf II if Kerry had prevailed.

Kerry votes against the stealth bomber. The Russian anti aircraft stuff would have gotten lots of our planes in Kosovo if we had not had the stealth fighers and bombers. Kerry voted against them.

Kerry lies and George Stepinalotofit helps him.

You have been snooked by Kerry into believeing he voted for Defense.

He also voted to gut the CIA...

Ooops. I should have put the words of Kerry and Edwards into italics. I was intending to convey a bit of sarcasm in my post. Kerry actually did say that he voted for most of the systems that our military currently uses. He also said that he has been criticized by some for his "pro-Military" voting, or words to that effect.

Meanwhile, the notion of John Edwards having the audacity to actually criticize the current administration concerning the rising costs of Health Care, is simply laughable. I was so frustrated when Boy George did not ask the ambulance chasing candidate just how he got to be so wealthy considering his poor boy childhood.

Conyers tried to get Reagan impeached as well, for Iran-Contra. No surprise.

Conyers is a drooling, senile Socialist idiot who rams around Congress doing whatever he feels like because if he died tomorrow, he'd STILL get 90%+ of the vote in his district come November.

You are right. Unfortunatly Michigans ex governor (before Jenny) re-disctricking landed me with Conyers who knows little about our area.
