AMERICA - The Right Way!! (Day 1115) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | February 10, 2004 | All of Us

Posted on 02/10/2004 4:30:54 AM PST by Chairman_December_19th_Society

America will never seek a permission slip to defend the security of our country!

Good morning!!

Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!

President Bush visited Missouri, on the heels of Criminal Party wannabees, and lashed out at the efforts of those who would deny making many of his tax cuts permanent. The marriage penalty reduction, for example, is set to expire next year and would result in a tax increase to many folks. The President is correctly characterizing the effort, predominately being carried on by Criminal Party members in Washington, as a potential tax increase on America.

United States intelligence has ascertained there are several training facilities in Pakistan for terrorists. After training, the terrorists are routed through Europe and on to the United States where they are joining sleeper cells, merely waiting for orders and money to carry out attacks on America.

For many of the soldiers serving in Iraq, the search for WMDs is secondary--they say that capturing Saddam has made going to war justified.

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

I'll be taking my MIL to the doctor today for a checkup and then home. I pray she will have the inner strength to do this. Some things that have been said last night have given me indication that she may be afraid of going home even though she really wants to.

Molly, it's hard to distinguish between that which may be caused by the mini stroke( all of which the doctor has said is very minor) and that which is a powerplay.

A few prayers for patience is requested.

Thank you for asking.

Good morning to all you wonderful folks.

I'm sure getting tired of "all dems, all the time" every time you turn on a TV or radio.

Locally, one of the radio stations, WTNT is a Clear Channel radio station, but national news is from CNN. As only one of many examples, the CNN news reader talked about President Bush's comments about making the tax cuts permanent. Didn't have a sound bite to play. Then,
they went and played soundbites from all the dem candidates. I'm thinking to myself, "how in the world are we going to counter media bias in this election?"

I know it's going to be through prayer, through the people we have the ability to influence in our lives, one by one. In reflection, we have to be able to "educate" the younger folks in our lives that get inundated with this leftist junk in high school and especially college. We have to present clear and concise reasons for our vote and reasons why their vote for this president is important to their future. It's important to point out voting records, and how those votes (especially by Kerry) would have landed our country in a whole heap of trouble if his way had the consent of the majority.

Sorry for the rant, but I'm really discouraged now. But I know God is able, and that President Bush is the man to be in the White House at this appointed time - - I pray daily that the President is given the wisdom of Solomon and the patience of a saint.

I think, just to summarize my rant, is that we continue to remember this president in prayer and realize there is a real, spiritual battle between good and evil struggling to tear this country apart.

I really love you guys! You bring sanity to my day!

Molly, I just saw this "Next Monday, ABC's "Primetime Live" devotes a full hour in sweeps to "Passion," including an interview of Gibson by Diane Sawyer."

GOOD A.M. TO ALL FROM THE 'GONNA BE REAL WET TODAY' MISSISSIPPI GULF COAST, USA!!!!

But, it is warm here today, in the low 60's. You can look at the weather channel and see the rain coming our way. Like I always say, I miss the changing of colors in the trees, mostly green all the time with the live oaks, pines. I do have a red maple in my front yard and it does keep me in practice getting up the leaves. On the farm I have three big ole oak trees you drive under to get to the house site, big ole oak trees in my prayer park and these drop their leaves every year. The riding mower sil has will take care of them big time.

Looks like Kerry's voting record is going to hurt him. I am so sick of this guard thing, these men and women are not second hand troops as Kery is trying to say.

This Super Bowl halftime show has gonna to really put a bad light on these 'bump and grind' shows and 'artist'. This Jackson faze just might be coming to a end. Gd Use to love Britney Spears and now she calls her a 'hoochy momma'.

Talking about gd, I am baby sitting today but when d leaves, WE gotta go and get a half gallon of ice cream some cookies, some cokes some candy and I just found out she is out of ice cream sandwiches. Oh the life of a PawPaw. Me, I'll pass on eating any of these 'healthy' snacks as I have reverted to the Atkins diet. Time I hit 70 I will have tried every diet ever published. In one week I have lost 8 1/2 pounds and I do give credit to some of this losses to 'that bug' I have had. I kind of like the diet and do not miss the bread, potatoEs, sugar and the likes.

Prayers for all to stay safe and free from illness, for OUR President W and for the elderly. Toby

A caller into a local talk radio show yesterday reminded me of a very important point about WMDs.

It wasn't that we had 100% proof that Saddam had them ... it was that he refused to provide evidence that he had destroyed them, as called for by UN Resolution 1441.

That is a very significant point ... perhaps the most significant one.

And I would love to see someone speak to the other demands of that Resolution every time WMDs are mentioned.

Good point, kayak.

Also, an article the other day reminded me that both President Bush and Prime Minister Blair offered Saddam 60 days to leave Iraq and have his troops stand down. He refused that as well.
