AMERICA - The Right Way!! (Day 1115) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | February 10, 2004 | All of Us

Posted on 02/10/2004 4:30:54 AM PST by Chairman_December_19th_Society

America will never seek a permission slip to defend the security of our country!

Good morning!!

Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!

President Bush visited Missouri, on the heels of Criminal Party wannabees, and lashed out at the efforts of those who would deny making many of his tax cuts permanent. The marriage penalty reduction, for example, is set to expire next year and would result in a tax increase to many folks. The President is correctly characterizing the effort, predominately being carried on by Criminal Party members in Washington, as a potential tax increase on America.

United States intelligence has ascertained there are several training facilities in Pakistan for terrorists. After training, the terrorists are routed through Europe and on to the United States where they are joining sleeper cells, merely waiting for orders and money to carry out attacks on America.

For many of the soldiers serving in Iraq, the search for WMDs is secondary--they say that capturing Saddam has made going to war justified.

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

Carl Cameron says that it is the overwhelming decision of the Rats that John Kerry is the one who can beat George W. Bush.

I just can't see it, myself. He is a pompous arrogant jerk, and I cannot fathom that people would throw out a proven leader for this jerk.

Oh...Clark's staff hasn't been paid in a week! I won't be sorry to see him disappear.

I am not going to say "You'll be simply beautiful"

Because you already are ... though not particularly simple ... thankfully.

I am mindful of the look on President Bush's face and tone of his voice when asked if he thought he could lose to Kerry ... "I'm not gonna lose." HA!

HA! Indeed!

I am thinking I will go to our Central Library this week. They have all the city newpapers on microfiche. I will see if I can find any Kerry stuff, which I am sure I can, because in those years our paper was conservative and very much against the anti-war movement.

I would encourage everyone who can to do this. The best place to look for this is in the main libraries of large cities, who tend to keep more archives than the branches.

In fact, I think I will post a thread about this and encourage everyone to get involved. What do you guys think?

A freeper on another thread has more of the exact wording of that excellent question at today's White House press briefing.

Reporter to Scott: "I'm more interested in what the president did AFTER his service unlike the rest of everyone here.

Did he stand side by side with Jane Fonda and protest the war.

Or did he testify to Congress about our own troop raping, chopping off limbs, shooting at innocent civilians while hundreds of thousands of our own troops were still there?

Or did he throw his medals over the wall.

Did he do any of that, Scott?"

It was a sight to behold.

On another matter, Bob Woodward is scheduled to appear on Larry King Live. I mention this because in the past Woodward has absolutely condemned those callers who have suggested the president waged the war for oil or that the war was planned in advance of 9/11.

His book Bush at War was quite complimentary and Woodward explained how decisions were made in the White House post 9/11. I will be terribly disappointed if he too has turned on the president.

Absolutely, we will be planting Mandevilla again this year. I just wish we could have a mild enough year for it to really flourish, but the frost gets it every time.

Besides, if I didn't plant Mandevilla what excuse would I have for thinking of you everytime I walk into the yard?

Peach, I didn't hear that question about Kerry! Interesting, do you know which reporter asked it?

MM, the WH presser literally had me nauseous. I mean it. And on the thread that was put up about it, several others relayed the same gut-level reactions.

The press was like a rabid animal. Nothing less, it was astonishing to watch.

I don't know who the reporter was or who he works for.

Lysie - on another thread I said there were a lot of freepers who would like to buy the reporter dinner. Kisses optional, of course!

I have planted about 5 mandevilla and none of them have taken. I was told they are like weeds, they'll grow anywhere. Well they don't grow for me. I wanted them to go up a light pole, it's wood.

Dolly, beautiful pictures. You're quite a photographer. My sister thinks I have a tick...I take individual pictures of wild flowers, she calls them weeds. In fact I'm thinking of having a "wine cup" blown up for a wall. Maybe 20 x 36 or so.

I heard this fellow and did you see the faces of the other reporters? Shocked!

Hey, the Vice President himself was from TN and he lost that state. Does anyone really think KERRY will take THAT state in the general election?

And this guard thing, those troops are not second class troops as Kerry is referring.
