America will never seek a permission slip to defend the security of our country!
Good morning!!
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
President Bush visited Missouri, on the heels of Criminal Party wannabees, and lashed out at the efforts of those who would deny making many of his tax cuts permanent. The marriage penalty reduction, for example, is set to expire next year and would result in a tax increase to many folks. The President is correctly characterizing the effort, predominately being carried on by Criminal Party members in Washington, as a potential tax increase on America.
United States intelligence has ascertained there are several training facilities in Pakistan for terrorists. After training, the terrorists are routed through Europe and on to the United States where they are joining sleeper cells, merely waiting for orders and money to carry out attacks on America.
For many of the soldiers serving in Iraq, the search for WMDs is secondary--they say that capturing Saddam has made going to war justified.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

Detail the Kerry nailing by a reporter, please! I just got home!
To: Dog
A reporter (whose name I do not know) asked the White House spokesperson the following:
After President Bush left the National Guard did he:
--protest the war with Jane Fonda?
--throw his medals over the wall?
--testify before Congress that Vietnam War Vets were war criminals who were raping and multilating women and children?
It was an electrifying moment. Never before have I witnessed a reporter ask a question that NAILED a liberal. NAILED.

Hi Molly
Thanks for links.. I have just "worked" on my pix from the Tree Farm last week..
Since Dog hasn't posted any Mars photos, here is MY moon photos
I have a couple dozen.. one interesting one is that of the Goodyear blimp passing over rt 8 & just under the moon. I didn't have the lens on zoom and so both are like specks on screen.

Ouch, that's going to leave a mark on Kerry's campaign, if the media lets the American public hear it. I'm not going to hold my breath.

Yes! I would love to hear what happened. Fox has been showing Rummy...
Dolly, that is a lovely photo. Thanks for posting it.
To: DollyCali
Hauntingly beautiful photo, Dolly.
I adore a full moon and especially when it shines into a dark room or onto a porch when all is still and quiet at night.

On some of the threads it is very "tiring" to see the continual attacks on GWB and now Laura.
Same people, same songs(crap), same silliness.
Introducing logic & facts do not seem to matter.
THe reporter's comments sound wonderful.. Will we ever really hear about it other than here????
doubtful.
my second bike class is tonight. So much to do first. taking a "rest the sore back" break" but need to get busy.

Not until the 28th. Jen is doing fine. I am the one getting nervous!

here is one of the moon & the blimp just above the tree line
This trail is part of the national park & a popular crsss country ski trail. It was a tree farm (christmas trees) that is pretty well overgrown & thus many large trees are in the acreage. The trail is 2.75 miles long & weves in and out of trees. One major pond (horseshoe pond) plus a few smaller one are on property

Glad she is better.. that was a real scare with her hospitalization.
I know you are worried about everything falling into place. Something we "daughterless" mom's can't fully appreciate

Have to leave soon, but I have found a poem which fits lysie...
The title is : To Be of Use...by Marge Piercy..
The beginning:
"The people I love the best
jump into work head first
without dallying in the shallows
and swim off with sure strokes almost out of sight."
Isn't that fitting?? For lysie , who snowblows her driveway...climbs onto roofs...fixes the plumbing AND her computer...
Only it goes on to compare such people, and lysie, IMO, to water buffalo "who strain in the mud"...oxen tied " to a heavy cart.."
You see my problem? Sigh...it's just not quite the thing, altho the idea is great....
AND it ends well, too:
"The pitcher cries for water to carry
and a person for work that is real."
lysie, this poem made made me think of you, but I'm not wild about the water buffalo part...:-))
To: Molly Pitcher
Last post.. back to work.
Here is pix of frozen pond w/trees
Have you ever been to this part of national park, Molly?

I wish I had enough $$ to have you all come!
Of course, my husband and family would think I had lost my mind. Especially my democrat sister! LOL!
I will make sure there are lots of pictures that I can post. The Coopster will help me.
Now, if I could just lose the weight I gained over the Christmas holidays! Yikes!
