Gwyneth Paltrow wants to raise her first child in Britain - because America is 'too weird'.
The 31-year-old wife of Coldplay singer Chris Martin is due to have their first child later this year.
Paltrow said she would worry about bringing up a baby in the US adding: 'There's a weird over-patriotic atmosphere. It's like, "We're No.1 and the rest of the world doesn't matter".
'With all the guns in schools, it's not too great. We'll probably move about until school age and then choose a place and stick with it.'

Maybe she should not bother to make or market her films in the USA. If we're so "weird" why should she waste her "talent" on the likes of us? The French are a very cultured race--let her make and market her films there.

That will give America a jump start on it's trek from Weirdness to normalcy.
Britains? Good luck, I wish you well!

Gwyneth Paltrow wants to raise her first child in Britain - because America is 'too weird'. If I had grown up in the cities of California and Massachusetts, I would think that America was too weird too.

Movie star Gwyneth Paltrow has blasted President George The pregnant Sylvia star - who recently married Coldplay singer Chris Martin - claims Bush has used his position to make money for himself and his friends.
During a promotional interview for the new movie she said, "I think George Bush is such an embarrassment to America in the way that he doesn't take the rest of the world into consideration.
"And it all seems to be for him and his friends to keep getting richer at the expense of a nation, at the expense of the environment. It's like a full scale assault on the environment."
But Hollywood insiders fear the 31-year-old's outburst and unpatriotic attitude might damage her career.
One says, "Gwyneth seems to have spoken out of turn as far as some people are concerned. But lots of people agree with her.
"It may be the right thing said at the wrong time even as far as the liberals in Hollywood are concerned."

I bet she keep claiming her primary residence in the US, so she doesn't have to pay British taxes.

This commentary is from last March. In Britain again no less. Apparently this chick doesn't have the guts to spew this stuff over here.

Americans are too patriotic, eh. Yep, nobody else around the world is patriotic or nationalistic or anything like that, only the evil Americans.
She has said she is embarrassed that President Bush is an American, too. The woman definitely is in the right place, well outside our borders. If she had the courage of her convictions, she would just renounce her US citizenship, join a terrorist organization and be done with it.

At my daughter's school, located near Philadelphia, America is troopers siccing german sheperds on blacks in the 50's and 60's, and the only heroes are the first black shuttle astronaut, Rosa Parks, MLK, etc. The school is almost all white 15 minutes from Philly. There is no Ben Franklin, Washington, Jefferson, etc. to speak of. Why are you sending your child to a public school?

"We're No.1 and the rest of the world doesn't matter" So what's her point?
Her point is, after all she and the likes of her have done to attempt to bring us to the bottom, we still prevail as #1.
It must be tremendously frustrating for her.

This twit would certainly define herself as a liberal, and yet if she was ever made to delve, point by point, into most of things she finds troubling about America, she would find their origins in liberal policy and influence. But of course, this would require some effort, as well as brainpower and intellectual honesty, of which she has neither.

Darn! I'm already boycotting all Hollywood movies, so I have nothing left to boycott now. There's always freeping, however. Except that there are so many of these traitors we'd be spending all our time in front of the local dudecoplex.

I find it incredible that there are those who risk their lives to come to this country in rafts or sneak in across the border in the trunks of cars because they heard that this country is the answer to all their problems and those who made their fortune here off of it's people are leaving in steel birds dropping their trash on the way out.

Old Martin must have banged Paltrow's head too hard against the headboard. Paltrow is mumbling aimlessly the hollywierd mantra.

I think George Bush is such an embarrassment to America in the way that he doesnt take the rest of the world at all into consideration, the star said while promoting Sylvia, according to the Scottish Daily Record And it all seems to be for him and his friends to keep getting richer at the expense of a nation, at the expense of the environment.
