Gwyneth Paltrow wants to raise her first child in Britain - because America is 'too weird'.
The 31-year-old wife of Coldplay singer Chris Martin is due to have their first child later this year.
Paltrow said she would worry about bringing up a baby in the US adding: 'There's a weird over-patriotic atmosphere. It's like, "We're No.1 and the rest of the world doesn't matter".
'With all the guns in schools, it's not too great. We'll probably move about until school age and then choose a place and stick with it.'

Somebody needs to tell her about Berkeley, Madison, and Ithaca.

Weird hunh? Over-patriotic like the rest of the world doesn't matter?
Here's braniac's bio:
http://www.celebritysun.com/GwynethPaltrow.html Her opinion is as valid as anyone in Hollywoods but I would think that she would want to study America more before she makes such breathtakingly sweeping generalizations. At least she might want to take a few courses in American History.

I just worry about HER bringing up a baby anywhere in the world. Imagine how that child is going to turn out. Sigh.

No, not Reese Witherspoon. Gwennie. You remeber Gwennie.

How do people get so stupid? She will send her kid to a private school. And there aren't a lot of guns in public schools, nor is the left wing NEA teaching kids that the U.S. is number one and the rest of the World doesn't matter. At my daughter's school, located near Philadelphia, America is troopers siccing german sheperds on blacks in the 50's and 60's, and the only heroes are the first black shuttle astronaut, Rosa Parks, MLK, etc. The school is almost all white 15 minutes from Philly. There is no Ben Franklin, Washington, Jefferson, etc. to speak of.

You know, I felt for her because her grief over her father's death mirrored my own - I knew exactly how she felt. Then she opened her mouth about this crap. Gwyn, just move to England with all the other Commies and spare us. Please.

The Republican party is out to fix that problem.

That's a shame about that school your kids go to.
In the end the Philadelphia Metro area is going to have a bunch of folks wondering where the gangs of rootless marauders came from.
