Her opinion is as valid as anyone in Hollywoods but I would think that she would want to study America more before she makes such breathtakingly sweeping generalizations. At least she might want to take a few courses in American History.

And there aren't a lot of guns in public schools, nor is the left wing NEA teaching kids that the U.S. is number one and the rest of the World doesn't matter. At my daughter's school, located near Philadelphia, America is troopers siccing german sheperds on blacks in the 50's and 60's, and the only heroes are the first black shuttle astronaut, Rosa Parks, MLK, etc. The school is almost all white 15 minutes from Philly. There is no Ben Franklin, Washington, Jefferson, etc. to speak of.
