What it takes to get banned from FR? (Vanity)

Given the rumors and speculation regarding banning of individuals from FR, I took the suggestion of another poster to start a thread around the topic. I have gone back and reread the rules and the specific speculation of posting to one type of thread or posting one type of article only is not called out as against the rules.
So, outside of the rules, what constitutes being banned or suspended from posting on FR?

For those of you who may not be aware, the FReeper in question on this thread is MrLeroy. He was a friend to many FReepers for a number of years and was always known as a voice of reason on threads, regardless of how out of control others flame-wars went. You can view his most recent posts at
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/site/user-posts?name=mrleroy and judge for yourself if there is anything remotely objectionable there.
If you feel otherwise, please POLITELY request to the management that MrLeroy be re-instated. Thanks for your help.

I don't see anything in the recent posts that seems out of line. I've had my differences with him in the past over his tendency to waste bandwidth by "feeding the trolls", but AFAIK that's not a posting violation.

After reading MrLeRoy's posts, I cannot see a reason he was banned. Please allow him to have his posting priviledges back.
He always kept his calm when others were going crazy in the War on some Drugs threads. I'm not sure what the infraction was, but after perusing his posts on FR, it would have to have been an isolated incident.
Thank you for the consideration.

Bump. I'd like to see what got him tossed myself. I never saw anything out of line from him.

waste bandwidthPlease...the amount of bandwidth transferred for posts is minimal as text is a miniscule amount of data per character.

Bump to let MrLeroy back aboard! He was NOT a rules violator of any sort as far as I could ever see. I would LOVE to hear from YOU, AM, as to WHY he was either banned or suspended.

Quite frankly, given the dearth of drug threads since "you know who's" been gone (though he did sneak back a few times), I find myself surfing around FR instead of wasting time "providing evidence for my claims".
Don't you notice the difference?
To: robertpaulsen
It's usually not at all difficult to provide evidence for valid claims. When claims are unsupported by actual evidence, it's all the circumlocution and rhetorical artifice to make them appear valid that takes effort, but not so much hunting down whatever tangential fact might be distorted to appear as evidence.
Just an observation! ;^)

Maybe if he had an FR radio show at one time, he could abuse forum rules. It works for others! lol

"Bandwidth" in the context of a given thread, and trolls do seem to like their graphics.Graphics are pulled from their source, not from Free Republic, unless the images are hosted off of http://www.freerepublic.com/ and virtually all are not.
If the admins were worried about bandwidth from images, then they would crush every Anna Kournikova thread.

"It's usually not at all difficult"It's not? Provide evidence for your claim that it's "not at all difficult".
Of course I'm kidding.
To: robertpaulsen
Don't you notice the difference? Not really. You drug warriors still fail to provide evidence and never will logically answer (or even simply answer in some warriors' cases) questions related to the discussion.
