Al Qaeda again threatens New York, Washington and Los Angeles - Daily Terror Threat

A new message was posted in the last few hours by the Jeddah-based al-Qaeda-linked Al-Islah (Reform) society calling on Muslims to flee New York, Washington and Los Angeles in advance of major al Qaeda attacks in those cities. This is revealed by DEBKAfile.

The message accuses the United States of predetermining its end (doom) by its policies. ?The Jews rule the Pentagon by remote control and (are the cause) of Muslims being killed in every corner of the world. The United States should therefore expect more blows.?

The message is signed on behalf of the al Bayan (The Threat) movement by ?your warrior brother, Abul Hassan al Khadrami?.

Our Muslim expert identifies the name of the signatory as belonging to a Yemeni from Hadhrameuth, the Bin Ladens? place of origin where Osama enjoys substantial tribal support.

DEBKAfile?s counter-terror sources stress that warnings appearing on these forums are taken both very seriously and with caution by the intelligence services keeping track of the terrorist network?s electronic traffic.

Last November, Jeddah-based fundamentalist forums addressed a message to an Al Qaeda member, saying whoever understands ? understands; whoever knows, knows, but we are marching towards an operation that will take us to Paradise. Three days later, the Mombasa Paradise hotel was blown up killing 12 Kenyans and 3 Israelis and a failed shoulder-launched Strela anti-air missile missed an Israeli airliner at Mombasa airport.

Try all the California coast folks, headed east, with 300 miles of hot dry desert to cross.

There will be no gas or water for sale or available, first the gov will take control of all supplies and next is the simple fact that without electricity the pumps won't work to get it out of the tanks.

The winter of 1954, we had gone to Yuma from San Diego, a nice trip, but coming back that night the pass from the desert to the mountains on I-8 was closed, (snow)we were sent back to the desert to wait for morning.

Coyote Wells, a wide spot on the road, with a tiny cafe, sold out every bite of food and cup of coffee.

Come morning, it looked like an ocean of cars, hundreds of them, parked and waiting.

We went back to El Centro for breakfast, only 27 miles, but if a little snow storm does that, imagine, what real panic will do.

Bill always said that we needed to get guns that took the NATO ammunition, as if we were invaded, there would be bullets available on the battlefield dead.

People are such fools, we once picked up a hitchhiking man and woman with a 2 year old child, out of El Centro and took them on to Yuma, Az. They did not even have a bottle of water with them, I wonder if they made it to Texas?

In wargaming at the MEF and Regimental levels, I've considered how an enemy might attempt to assault the southern CA area. The recent fires in So CA still havn't been very well explained, although if I were a foreign enemy commander, they sure seemed to have provided a wealth of operational data on populational response trends if SoCA were ever attacked. The fires formed a ring from Ensenada towards the desert and up north of LA to the coast. It didn't take full seige to measure the response capacity of the region and monitor reinforcement opeations.

I wouldn't be surprised if many of the fires weren't well planned.

Well, *I* will take credit for doing that, since it was my post that started it all.

I guess you were one of the ones who < 9/11 thought we could never be attacked here in the US, because it was such a "kooky" idea also. I mean..who would've thunk it.."terrorists will destroy the WTC with our own airplanes". Anyone saying that < 9/11 would've been laughed out of town. But, hey..think what ya want. The Russia angle is very well documented by some very smart and well respected guys, and I find it VERY plausible and even quite likely if you think in the bigger picture.

Much of the related info and testimony (eg: from Lenev [sp?], etc) is in the Congressional record in the form of testimony before Congress. Some of it has been the subject of "60 minutes" programs [eg: the Russian General who first informed us of the Suitcase Nukes, which is now accepted as pretty much fact by most everyone here]. But, I guess the major international players and researchers were just spewing "kooky" theories for the fun and thrill of it..

Post 911, we have to think ANYTHING is possible, IMHO. Of course, on the other hand, it is ALSO possible that we are dealing with nothing but pure Islamic radicals. Either one is equally plausible in my thinking.

If you spent as many nights searching Yahoo Groups, looking for a subject to catch your interest, as I have, you too would have caught the same things as I did.

After I joined 100's of groups, I discovered that the open archives often told me what was in the group, often you will find only one message worth having and it can be forwarded from the group to your email, even if you are not a member.

I went to y.groups this morning and tried : Health & Wellness, then Alternative Medicine, then Herbal Medicine.

found: ixora (sehat bersama) Which may be about a plant used in herbals, I can't read the messages, but there appears to be a meeting on the 11th.

I was afraid that I was posting too much 'off topic', so I thank you and will now proceed to scare your socks off.

In 1975 or 76, at Wellton, we were the first homestead from Mexico's border, after crossing the bombing range, a 40 mile walk/trip, of pure desert.

I worked at the justice court and it was either before the July 4th or Labor Day holidays that the Sergent of the Yuma County Deputies called me to his office and asked what my weekend plans were. We were not friends, so it was a strange question. Please note that he had and has my respect, but he was not one of my 'kids'.

He handed me a piece of teletype printout and suggested that I leave town for the weekend.

The message said that a group of terrorists would cross the Mexican border and attempt to take a military base in Arizona.

As I recall it was the ____September ___group, I do know that it had trained in Russia and may be what is now known as the Black September terrorist group.

They did cross near Tucson and were caught. The Sarge never gave you details "afterwards", on anything.

You would be amazed at the things I saw crossing in front of the house, a nice evening meant setting in the front door, with the phone within reach.

Moving to Kingman, has left me totally bored for the past 25 years.

When the Berlin Wall came down, I didn't buy all the hype and asked a client (Real Estate) who was born in Armenia and knew how limited my education was, to tell me what it meant.

I was watching for a pretty red haired girl with long curly hair that looks a bit like the old actress who did the movie about a drunk woman, may have been Rita Hayworth. This girl shows up in photos taken world wide. All anti-America and communist.

I couldn't help but catch the fact that they were against the war in Iraq and against anything American.

Muslims have a strong link with Hitler. Arafat for one and the Saudis.

I couldn't understand why the abortion clinic spokeswomen were arab looking and named.

Could it be that the 20 million aborted babies, will now never carry a gun and defend America?????

Can you imagine a Muslim woman asking for an abortion?? Off with her head.

Muslims with 4 wives and 10 kids each and if you check the population growth tables, they are growing fast in numbers.

There is no doubt that the fires in So. Calif were well planned, if you go to the FR daily threads for them and only read the actual police reports that were posted, they were the same as were on the police sites, I checked.

Add in the stupidity of the gov, in refusing to use the military fire fighters and you have to wonder how deep in our gov, our enemies really are.

During WW2 there were submarines and attacks planned for our east and west coasts. The info is out there on them.

But many don't know how many planned attacks would have come from Mexico, by the Germans.

The old timers told me that the Germans attempted to invade from Mexico, and the whole convoy is still stuck in the Yuma Sand Dunes, not far from the mex border.

If you live near the dunes, you would understand how it could be possible. One day it is flat land that you see out the car window, as you travel the freeway. The next time you come through, the dunes will be 200' foot high.

Then there are the reports of the lost wagon train and some even believe that the 'lost ship with the black pearls', are in the same dune area.

Yesterday someone talked of taking out the satellites that would warn us of an attack. If that is done, I can move an army across the border into Wellton, across the bombing range. Have driven (and been stuck) in a Toyota and a Chev pickup, normal rigs.

Don't know if I can find the secret pass that we found, it was kept in almost graded condition, neither the Feds or local Deputies knew it existed.

Or you can land a chopper anywhere, but there are also nice and well maintained dirt landing strips that the dope smugglers keep up, one was a mile or so from the house.

I hung a blinking Christmas decoration in the window late one night, and a plane almost landed on my mobile.

Asked an old timer and he told me where to find the airstrip, hidden behind a small hill. Feds didn't know about it either.

I can't keep up with the current events or completely understand what much of it means, but history seems to always repeat itself and although we have nice new weapons that do wondrous things, I notice the military still digs a foxhole to work from.
