Al Qaeda again threatens New York, Washington and Los Angeles - Daily Terror Threat

A new message was posted in the last few hours by the Jeddah-based al-Qaeda-linked Al-Islah (Reform) society calling on Muslims to flee New York, Washington and Los Angeles in advance of major al Qaeda attacks in those cities. This is revealed by DEBKAfile.

The message accuses the United States of predetermining its end (doom) by its policies. ?The Jews rule the Pentagon by remote control and (are the cause) of Muslims being killed in every corner of the world. The United States should therefore expect more blows.?

The message is signed on behalf of the al Bayan (The Threat) movement by ?your warrior brother, Abul Hassan al Khadrami?.

Our Muslim expert identifies the name of the signatory as belonging to a Yemeni from Hadhrameuth, the Bin Ladens? place of origin where Osama enjoys substantial tribal support.

DEBKAfile?s counter-terror sources stress that warnings appearing on these forums are taken both very seriously and with caution by the intelligence services keeping track of the terrorist network?s electronic traffic.

Last November, Jeddah-based fundamentalist forums addressed a message to an Al Qaeda member, saying whoever understands ? understands; whoever knows, knows, but we are marching towards an operation that will take us to Paradise. Three days later, the Mombasa Paradise hotel was blown up killing 12 Kenyans and 3 Israelis and a failed shoulder-launched Strela anti-air missile missed an Israeli airliner at Mombasa airport.

Do you know how an evaporative cooler works? It has a drum with ridges an inch or so high and the pulley to the motor makes it turn and it blows air into the room.

It could be rigged to a bike frame or even a crank, like we used to use on cars and tractors to turn over the motor. I would like the bike frame, better than by hand.

How An Evaporative Cooler Works

The principle of evaporative cooling is relatively simple. Air moving past water will cause the water to evaporate. The heat necessary to cause evaporation is drawn out of the passing airstream and hence the air is cooled. The human body uses this principle to control body temperature by varying the amount of moisture on the skin surface (perspiration). The evaporation of this moisture cools the skin and helps to lower the body temperature.

The modern evaporative cooler uses a fan to draw outside air through wet filter pads This filters the air of impurities and lowers the air temperature due to the evaporation of water within the pads. The cooled air is then distributed or directed into the building. The filter pads are wet by a pump which pumps water up to the top of the pads, from where it trickles down. The moisture content of the supplied air is increased, however this does not matter provided the air is cooled sufficiently.

By controlling the airflow (fan speed), the temperature in the building may be controlled. Since the supply air is not re-circulated, provision must be made to allow the air to escape from the building once the air has finished cooling. This may be done by simply opening doors or windows, or by the provision of relief ducts or fans.

Because an evaporative cooler is continuously evaporating water, it naturally requires a water supply. In addition, the salts in the supply water don't evaporate, and gradually increase the salt concentration in the tank. The salts then precipitate out on the pads, causing water to drip onto the roof. To overcome this you need either a continuous bleed or a salinity meter and a pump-out valve

Although evaporative cooling works best in dry climates, it is still possible to give reasonable comfort in higher humidity areas, eg. Brisbane, AUSTRALIA, by simply increasing the airflow, provided the air temperature is not too high. Evaporative cooling works everywhere except in areas that have both a high temperature and a high moisture content simultaneously (eg. Darwin, AUSTRALIA, during the "wet"). See also evapclimate.htm

At the time, I thought "yeah. Sure. Whatever!". After all, I was convinced it was **AL QAEDA** we were fighting. Little did I know!

Now, I am not so sure. Maybe this was "the plan" all along.

Is it Al Qaeda? Or Russia throwing the punches?

Also goes a long way to explaining why we haven't been hit since 9/11 if it IS Russia. (See my earlier post today for why this is, but it's all psychological conditioning that we are fighting this "AQ" enemy, when it is really Russia behind the scenes all along).

To answer the question about suitcase nuclear attacks, it's important to clarify what we think has happened so far. For this purpose let us start by considering GRU officer Viktor Suvorov's testimony on the subject of "gray terror," which is what we began to experience with 9/11.

"The overture [i.e., the first phase of World War III] is carried out by agents of the secret services of the Soviet satellite countries and by mercenaries recruited by intermediaries. The principal method employed at this stage is "gray terror," that is, a kind of terror which is not conducted in the name of the Soviet Union. The Soviet secret services do not at this stage leave their visiting cards, or leave other people's cards. The terror is carried out in the name of already existing extremist groups not connected in any way with the Soviet Union, or in the name of fictitious organizations."

If former Czech intelligence Captain Vladimir Hucin is correct in his assertion that M. Atta was trained by the communists in Czechoslovakia, then 9/11 fits the above description of "gray terror" in which operations are carried out under a "false flag."

Why did they attack the World Trade Center and the Pentagon on 9/11? Why weren't nuclear devices used?

In the first place, technology exists to determine the origin of detonated nuclear devices. It would be quickly established that the devices were of Russian origin. Any in-depth investigation would eventually determine that the Russians may have given the terrorists weapons through intermediaries with the hope that they would be used on the United States. If U.S. officials reached certain "paranoid" conclusions Russia could no longer benefit by its pretense of "friendship" with the United States.

In the second place, the attack had to be of sufficient violence as to grab the attention of the Americans and focus that attention on an Islamic enemy. The process of focusing attention on al Qaeda and Saddam's Iraq is entirely diversionary. You will notice that Saddam became the main U.S. enemy about the time the Soviet Union fell. This may not be coincidental. After the 9/11 attack, U.S. analysts and leaders' are not longer worried about Russia. Whatever worries they had up to that point have paled in comparison to the new threat. Already, prior to 9/11, Russian intelligence told Bodanksy and others that bin Laden had acquired Soviet nukes via Chechnya. This news was met with skepticism in 1999 when it was first published. Now it is accepted by the U.S. government as true.

Clearly, our thinking has been "conditioned" in respect of who the enemy is and what their method of attack might be. (The enemy is al Qaeda and their method will be to use stolen Soviet nukes.)

Psychological conditioning here is everything. If the groundwork is properly laid, the misdirection makes it impossible for anyone involved to question who is ultimately behind the attacks. Even if Russian spetsnaz commandos are caught planting nuclear devices, even if the devices are found to be of Russian manufacture, the Russian alibi is well established beforehand. Nobody is going to venture the dreadful conclusion that Russia has arranged a nuclear attack on the U.S. by proxy.

Now, let us try to answer the question as to the nature of future nuclear attacks. In this regard there is more to what Col. Lunev told me about fake Arab nuclear attacks on American cities. Lunev said that within days or weeks the main Russia rocket attacks would follow.

I was taken aback because I thought the Russian attacks would have to follow within hours or days. I had never imagined that the Russian operational time frame for the precursor "gray terror" could be so drawn out. The reason for this, however, becomes clear as we examine the intended effects of nuclear terror attacks.

First, in the event of a nuclear strike on the U.S. by terrorists, the United States would be tempted to strike back at targets in countries like Syria, Libya or Iran. Such action would hurt the U.S. position internationally, isolating the United States from outside sympathy and assistance. Second, the U.S. economy would be effectively shut down by national panic. Many people would refuse to enter the cities to work. The government would not collect the taxes it needs to keep the inner-cities at peace and to pay for the military. The banks would fail. Businesses would close their doors. People would flee to the countryside. The cities would explode. Add to the mix the heavily armed assassination detachements sent by Spetsnaz or the Islamists to kill America's leaders.

Given a combination of panic, economic breakdown and state disorganization, days or weeks might serve to amplify the effects of the first nuclear attacks. My guess is that the first nuclear terror strikes will occur as a set, close together in time. Eventually, the nuclear terror would shift to military and government targets -- away from civilian targets.

In the confusion of financial and governmental collapse, with domestic panic and violence attending it all, a decapitation attack by commandos would be facilitated. Allowing the confusion to build gradually would also permit Russian intelligence assets to function, and agents of influence to intensify the process of misdirection. Once U.S. defenses were down, once command and control had been compromised, a full scale attack might be launched from Russia and China without fear of retaliation.

In such a scenario, Russia and China can always sit back and enjoy America's distress. They wouldn't have to attack right away. They could repeat the terror sequence as it suits them, and try to hijack the American response. We have to consider the possibility that any dictatorship emerging from this crisis might come under the control of Russian/Chinese agents.

When will the final attack take place?

An attack could come at any time, but I would say that 2005-2007 would be ideal if one looks at Russia's own readiness. They need more time to prepare for the exploitation of all this, and so does China.

Mossad, I have seen your posts here before, or on similar threads. What are you quoting here? Something from another thread? Something from Daleel? From Bin?

If this quote is from Bin, it is encouraging because there was a thread earlier today speaking of the fact that Bin and Company had experienced a very bad December and many of their plans had been foiled. That analysis of the latest Bin tape indicated his tone, demeanor, and resolve had changed, and that unless AQ acted quickly it would lose its credibility and its seeming advantage over us for a time heading into the liberation of Iraq by our coalition.

Seems as if now, since Feb 21 in this post is the most remote date referenced, if we can hold out until then, we have turned the tide, and AQ is truly on the run.

Another thread (can't find it now, but it does exist SOMEWHERE outside of FR) talks about the tactic behind a future "suitcase nuke" attack..

Apparently, we have satellite transponders - 3 or so of them that control the vast majority of military satellites that watch for remote Russian ICBM launches. (These transponders apparently have to be at ground level and not buried in mountain ranges due to the fact they need clear line-of-sight [like DirectTv?] to the satellites).

The (apparent) goal is to take these out, "blinding" the US to the "big" attack (eg: ICBMs) that will follow. Of course, the fact that the US will be in total anarchy due to a "surprise" suitcase nuke attack (which will not surprise me in the SLIGHTEST if it happens in the next year or two) will be nothing but an added bonus that will prevent us from thinking clearly/protecting ourselves. After all, most of the leaders could be dead at that point, and we'd be on "auxillary" leadership control. (President Cheney, anyone?)

Ya see..no satellites..no early warning system. We'd literally be sitting ducks.

The second response is a massive explination in terms of history. I will not post it because It might not be welcomed on FR now. Although it would have been welcomed in 1998 when "KooK" theorys were allowed via the mission statement. I used to actually think along these terms, but have fallen away from it due to recent times. There is a good chance however that this is really happening in some form. If someone else want to post the text then go ahead. It sure makes for good reading durring the slow times on this thread.

The above link is from a google search on Alexander Lebed, as I have not yet located the link/comments that were on this thread several thousand posts ago. It has several excellent links itself, including Weldon's speech on the floor of Congress. Lebed said he thought there were 80-100 suitcase nukes unaccounted for; Weldon later said he felt there were 48. Either way you look at it, the number is staggering.

I am in the process of attempting the near impossible: I am compiling an index of this post and hope to have some semblance of it in place by the middle of next week.
