Al Qaeda again threatens New York, Washington and Los Angeles - Daily Terror Threat

[history]
Monday, November 3, 2003
A new message was posted in the last few hours by the Jeddah-based al-Qaeda-linked Al-Islah (Reform) society calling on Muslims to flee New York, Washington and Los Angeles in advance of major al Qaeda attacks in those cities. This is revealed by DEBKAfile.
The message accuses the United States of predetermining its end (doom) by its policies. ?The Jews rule the Pentagon by remote control and (are the cause) of Muslims being killed in every corner of the world. The United States should therefore expect more blows.?
The message is signed on behalf of the al Bayan (The Threat) movement by ?your warrior brother, Abul Hassan al Khadrami?.
Our Muslim expert identifies the name of the signatory as belonging to a Yemeni from Hadhrameuth, the Bin Ladens? place of origin where Osama enjoys substantial tribal support.
DEBKAfile?s counter-terror sources stress that warnings appearing on these forums are taken both very seriously and with caution by the intelligence services keeping track of the terrorist network?s electronic traffic.
Last November, Jeddah-based fundamentalist forums addressed a message to an Al Qaeda member, saying whoever understands ? understands; whoever knows, knows, but we are marching towards an operation that will take us to Paradise. Three days later, the Mombasa Paradise hotel was blown up killing 12 Kenyans and 3 Israelis and a failed shoulder-launched Strela anti-air missile missed an Israeli airliner at Mombasa airport.

proletariat · Proletariat Revolution
Description
Category: Communist
Proletariat Revolution provides information on the state of the world from a defiantly anti-imperialist, pro-revolution for and by the people viewpoint. The struggle against capitalism and imperialism and all other repressive "isms" is supported when the common good of the people is sought. This list supports the struggle of the Iraqi resistance to US imperialism, the Intifada of the Palestinian people, the Bolivarian Revolution of Venezuela, the black freedom fighters in the US, the Maoist struggle in Nepal, the struggle of the Zapatistas in Chiapas, the land redistribution begun by Comrade Robert Mugabe in Zimbabwe, and all revolutions/rebellions for the people! All are invited to join this list to discuss the global political situation and the stuggles for justice and human rights. Discussion of political ideas (Marxism, Communism, Socialism, Anarchism, etc.) is welcomed and feel free to post any articles of interest you come across.
I would recommend to sign up under digest form...the number of daily messages are normally between 20 and 30 and this may cause your "in box" to become cluttered. Any choice is fine though...

Much, much more, Daleel, like strapping bombs to your own people's children, lopping off the limbs of one's own neighbors, being continuously humiliated and perpetually trying to humiliate every other Muslim in your god's name, living in a 14th century backwater with no plumbing and trying to figure out how to blame your failures on everyone but yourself, and desperately desiring to vent your rage at women because they see you as you really are, a rambling, impotent eunuch?

American troops hurt after attacks in Kuwait Associated Press
KUWAIT CITY - Four U.S. soldiers were slightly injured Sunday after their truck convoys came under fire in two separate attacks in Kuwait, a U.S. military spokesman said.
The soldiers were injured by broken glass from the vehicles' windows after coming under fire on two different highways at 5:15 p.m. and at 5:45 p.m. local time, Lt. Col. Vic Harris told The Associated Press.
Investigators were trying to determine who was behind the attacks. It was not clear whether the shootings were related to the capture of former Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein late Saturday.
Kuwait's official news agency, KUNA, called it a "terrorist attack," but did not give further details.
The U.S. military has had a strong presence in Kuwait since it led the coalition that liberated the small, oil-rich state from a seven-month Iraqi occupation in 1991.
In January, an Islamic extremist shot two American civil contractors near Camp Doha, the main U.S. military base in Kuwait, killing one and injuring another.
While Kuwait is a major U.S. ally in the Gulf, scores of its citizens fought and trained with Islamic groups in Afghanistan, Chechnya and Bosnia. Such extremists oppose the U.S. military presence in Kuwait.

I just missed another phone call from my son. Darnit, I failed to unforward my phone when I returned to my desk. He did leave a message stating that there were a couple of shootings in Kuwait last night and that he would call me back tomorrow when he returns from his trip.

Thanks for the pings LG, JP, Calpernia and everyone. Thanks also for the great work keeping an eye on this guy.
These people hate us and want us dead. Although it's not very Christian like of me but those feelings are mutual.
Other freepers are of the opinion that as long as we stay on the offensive in places like Afghanistan and Iraq, the terrorists won't be able to organize another catastrophic attack. Our military has them off balance and on the run. As long as that is the case, I think the most we'll see are small attacks on 'soft' targets. If we ease up in our pursuit of them, that's when we'll need to worry.
Still, I urge everyone to be prepared. 3-day emergency kit in the car and supplies at home to go 30 days without services (water, power, etc). Im not saying go out and buy duct tape and plastic sheeting, but have food and water on hand.
Heres a link to FEMAs prepared list. It a good base for getting things together.

Dear Muslim brothers and sister in the world,
as you have all seen the american happiness for the capture of
Saddam Hussain in Iraq yesterday and the way they reported his
capture we cant be sure that it is really him or that what we all
have seen is true although it could be.
knowing all that and the extream level of victory in America and the
west for the capture of Saddam, dont let the happiness fool you, the
americans are in the worst situation ever since starting thier war
on Afghanistan and Iraq and the trap of baghdad will start showing
its teeth soon, and as you all know Al-Qaida has issued a warning
for all Muslims to start leaving parts of the US we hope that the
warnings have reached.
upon all the following we promise everyone this:
1- The (Real) war with America did not start yet.
2- The mojahideen are moving with certin planes.
3- The timing of the start of the war will be decided upon the
mojahideen them selfs.
4- But we can promise you that bush and blair and alot of the
crusaders dont know yet who Al-Qaida really is but they will soon.
5- The coming strike will turn the table upside down and we promise
all Muslims in the word that gods victory is very near if you just
know !!
6- we will issue a demand letter after the first strike and we
advize America to answer all our demands right away.

I can't help but wonder if Saddam will be a demand. Even the people loyal to him were mostly loyal out of fear.
