Oddly I think all four above.
I long for flying in the 60s to the 80s when it all changed. We wore suits and ties. We addressed the stewardess as Mame, and they addressed us as Sir. Boarding was not like getting onto a cattle car. Security was minimal but today I realize the necessity of extreme security measures. It was not needed in the past.
First Class was really first class. Today it is not much least flying on overseas carries such as Singapore Airlines, Cathy Pacific, etc. Recently flew from ABQ to DFW first class on American. The seat was wider, and I got free drinks which I did not take and all the damn packaged snacks I wanted. It was an evening flight at mealtime. I did not get a first class meal I got no meal. The guys in back paid for their drinks, had a narrow seat and got all the damn peanuts they wanted for free. They paid half the price.
I totally understand American Airlines trying to maximize profits. That is their job as a public corporation. When they crap on their high value customers it is just plain dman economic stupidity. I will probably fly them in the future as I live in Texas. But I will not fly them by choice. Oddly there is a saying here in Texas, if you go to hell you will have a layover in Dallas and probably late.
She has had MS for years, so I’m surprised she could do anything to get arrested at this point.
That would be my guess. Or, the mental illness that sometimes comes with MS.
I looked that up and they say she is currently in remission from MS which is good.
She had a stem cell treatment a few years ago and has been in remission.
