A former Minnesota prosecutor has just been arrested for allegedly helping to run a sex trafficking operation.
Andrea Sampson, ex-assistant attorney in Anoka County, is facing dozens of felony counts related to promoting prostitution and receiving profits from prostitution.
At least 13 victims have been identified, so far.
Fox 9 reported:
Andrea Sampson is charged with 26 felony counts, including promoting prostitution and receiving profits from prostitution. Investigators allege she helped facilitate the operation by providing locations for commercial sex transactions and creating shell companies to hide or funnel profits.
The criminal complaint details that the operation spanned Minneapolis, Bloomington, Eden Prairie and St. Louis Park. According to court documents, the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension has been investigating the case since 2021.
The documents allege that 13 women, all 18 or older, were victimized by Sampson and three others for at least five years. Investigators say women were recruited, advertised online and scheduled for commercial sex. Some women told investigators they were sexually assaulted, provided alcohol and drugs, and that cameras were used at some locations.
Take a look at Sampson’s mugshot here:
WTH is actually going on?? A goddamn prosecutor was setting up shell companies, handing over apartments, and pocketing cash from a sex trafficking ring.
These beasts were allegedly beating, raping, and threatening women for YEARS!
The people meant to protect you were running the operation.
The topsy-turvy world of Minnesota, on full display.
Along with Sampson, three other individuals have been charged as part of the investigation.
Authorities believe that Sampson and the two other women involved in the sex trafficking ring were in a romantic relationship with 57-year-old Frank Reeves, the alleged ringleader of the operation.
CBS News has more details:
The criminal complaint said law enforcement agencies, including the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, started investigating the operation in 2021. Officials found that a 57-year-old man had been operating the organization with assistance from Sampson, a 30-year-old woman and a 36-year-old woman.
Law enforcement learned through their investigation that the man and the 30-year-old woman were “actively involved in recruiting and posting commercial sex advertisements for numerous women,” set rates for appointments for “commercial sex transactions” and collected and received profits from the transactions, according to the court document.
The 36-year-old woman owned and operated the website Minnesota Erotica Personals, on which women have been “posted” for commercial sex transactions, the complaint said. She, along with the 30-year-old woman and the man, collected money from the victims posted on the website.
Sampson helped create and maintain corporations that appeared to be shell companies used to hide and/or funnel profits from the organization, according to the court document. Proceeds from the organization were allegedly collected and deposited into accounts before they were moved into bank accounts, including those of the corporations Sampson created.
Per the complaint, at least two Minneapolis properties owned by Sampson were sites where photographs of victims were taken for the advertisements and where transactions happened.
The court document, citing phone records, journal entries and other information gathered in the probe, said Sampson and the other two women appeared to believe they were in a romantic and/or sexual relationship with the man.
What in the world is going on in Minnesota?
Throw the book at them!

The land of 10,000 felonies
Any political affiliations or leanings. Seems like if she ir her accomplices were MAGA, that would figure prominently in the story.
Seems like a big percentage of MN government officials were involved in fraud. They had expertise in shell companies, handling complex paperwork, and finding legal loopholes and vulnerabilities.
Was there any communication between like-minded fraudsters? Was there any organized mentoring of Somali immigrants: “This is how it’s done. Now give me my cut”?
I think we are supposed to believe that these were all isolated, individual efforts. Why don’t we seek any RICO action?
Throw the book at her, and her customers.
Apparently the firm had no hush fund like congress has
Her customers need better glasses.............
“with assistance from...a 30-year-old woman and a 36-year-old woman.”
Who don’t have names apparently. Probably Somolian accomplices as they are experts at illegal activity.
Her customers weren’t buying her. They were paying for the privilege of raping the women she helped capture.
Yes outlaws find safe place to operate.
She must be a Democrat because no party affiliation was mentioned. A dead give away.
“The criminal complaint said law enforcement agencies, including the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, started investigating the operation in 2021.”
Sounds like a pretty lazy bunch there. Perhaps they should rename the agency to: “The criminal complaint said law enforcement agencies, including the Minnesota Bureau of DELAYED Criminal Apprehension, started investigating the operation in 2021.”
“Any political affiliations or leanings. Seems like if she ir her accomplices were MAGA, that would figure prominently in the story.”
Not possible, as she’s a lawyer and thus a College-Educated Woman.
When the media don’t report the party affiliation, the media have reported the party affiliation.
It's almost as if we get NOTHING in return for the 34 Billion a year we spend on the DOJ.
Zero 'elite' arrests, ZERO MIDTERM VOTES.
79 days.
It’s almost as if we get NOTHING
Then go out to do a small thing to help the cause.
So, it didn't work out?

Good point. Obviously a lone wolf. Working with a pack of other lone wolves.
