A West Virginia girl who fought back after a male on her track team harassed her and threatened to rape her says her school became a sea of hostility after she stood up against putting males in female sports.
Adaleia Cross attends Bridgeport High School in West Virginia. Her school district was at the center of a recent Supreme Court ruling that said males cannot play in women’s sports.
Although the ruling was a victory for her position, it came at a cost.
In January, her parents wrote an opinion piece in USA Today explaining the sexual harassment by the male who the school allowed to play, and why they joined the court case supporting a West Virginia law banning males from girls’ sports.
Students and teachers were openly hostile to Adaleia, according to Fox News.
“My homeroom teacher, who I’d had for two years, told me that she sees me as less of a person,” Cross said.
“The hardest part of the whole situation for me has been losing friends that I’ve had for years,” she said. “I’ve been friends with these kids since middle school, early elementary school, and to watch as we get older, and we get into high school, they just want nothing to do with me.”
“People I love don’t want to talk to me now,” she said.
The ACLU, which supported the male athlete, said the harassment claim was false.
But the Alliance Defending Freedom fought back for her.
“Our client has sworn under oath and under penalty of perjury in numerous cases about the events that took place between her and the male athlete,” the ADF said in a statement.
Adaleia had to “step away from the sport she loved entirely and sacrifice a key element of her school experience to protect herself...

As I have said before, these so-called trans boys that invade the girls sports are faking it.
They will take away scholarships from girls who deserve them and get a free ride in college, then after they graduate will suddenly have a change of heart and become guys again.........mark my words............
Zackly.
She should've just laid back and enjoyed it, eh, teach?
Isn't that the stance these crazy people used to accuse Conservatives of taking?
If a normal male teammate had threatened to rape her, all hell would have broken loose. But if the guy wears fake nails, makeup and girlie clothes, he’s home free.

Evidently, they were never your friends to begin with
👍 Good thing she found that out early in life.
One positive note is that folks are less likely these days to snicker at girls being spied on, threatened, and bullied. So maybe the trannies are doing some good work here.
Schools protecting pedophiles , Surprise
As in; What the heck are you talking about?
In a lot of cases you are quite correct. Would be interesting to see if “Will” Thomas has gone through with the lopodictoffomy or HE has quit the fakery since there is no longer a benefit.
Bizarro world if so. Normality is out there.
She should have quietly submitted for Equity’s sake!
This girl evidently has no father. Or if she does, he is a gelding.
If that were my daughter, things would get really ugly super fast. There would be no one slandering her.
Americans must have forgotten that the local school board, the ones who control the schools, is their agent to run the school. School board members are voted in and can be voted out.
My school board member lives just up the road. If that were going on in a school here, he would either have to stop it or leave the state.
I’m sure the restroom thing is the same game. Go in there, peeping Tom’s, eventually mall the girls when the room is empty.
Why can’t young ladies who experience this backlash sue the school district, and/or individual administrators and teachers for discrimination??!
And if not possible, why not?
