Senators will kneel for him. Celebrities will idolize him. The blackness of his skin will be the center of the story.
But if you're a white girl who escaped Ukraine only to get murdered by a black guy who mocked your white skin while slashing your throat? Well, you better not notice any racism there, and if you do, you better not put up memorials to the victim!

I'm starting to think my paranoid boomer uncles who like to rant at family gatherings are right about everything.
We told you back in March that Mayor Brett Smiley (his real name) called the mural of Iryna "divisive," and had successfully petitioned to have it removed. On Tuesday, it officially came down.

In a sane world, we shouldn't be having conversations about skin color. We should all just be Americans. But the Left focuses obsessively on skin color, and in one single direction. For decades, they have propped up criminals exclusively because they fit the victimhood narrative of the gay version of communism that's spread across the United States. They will relentlessly push narratives about oppression, racism, and evil when their preferred identity groups are involved, but the moment someone in those preferred identity groups is the perp, they expect everyone to shut up and not notice patterns. They are the "boot stamping on a human face forever."

This is extremely heartbreaking. She was a young life who came to our nation for a new life - and her young life was viciously and senselessly ended. She came her with hope, worked various jobs, enrolled in college classes, and had just finished a shift working as a waitress before she was killed for nothing other than being white and existing. 23 years old.
I am ashamed of what has happened to our nation. Taking down a mural dedicated to her is cruel.
Put it back up. Keep putting it back up.
