More madness from the 'conservative' justices Gorsuch and Barrett.

For a day or two...then it will be interesting watching the headlines go from...

"Trump Signature Tariff Agenda Suffers Major Setback!" to...

"Trump Tariff Effort Stymied but There Could be Other Paths." to...

"Trump Finds a Way to Work Around Supreme Court Ruling Forbidding Him From Imposing Unjust Tariffs!" to...

President Trump should nominate five Supreme Court justices and send to the a Senate for confirmation.

There are a few ways to skin the cat. SCOTUS just ruled the cat could not be skinned in this particular fashion. POTUS Trump will now use another way to remove the cat skin.

He will prevail. No worries.

I know a lot of FReepers will disagree, but women have NO business on any court. Their emotions will ultimately rule the day.

I don’t know the law as it pertains
It struck down some of his use of tariffs based on war or emergency grounds from the 70s I think

Folks should examine the whole of the ruling

I would really appreciate it if the Supreme Court would kindly step in and declare all personal income taxes illegal! It seems there are far too many in this country that would rather tax our citizens rather than tax those that benefit from all of our protection and generosity.

Perhaps the allegedly republican controlled congress should have enacted some tariffs...or some engaged in some other useful activities. they’re pathetic

The economy is screaming along on full steam. Great market.

Should have known the Deep State would queer it.

The Heritage Foundation played a key role in shaping Donald Trump’s Supreme Court nominations, with its scholars and legal experts helping to vet and compile the lists of conservative, constitutionalist candidates used to select Justices Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, and Barrett.

It means America’s strategic economic planning is out of control

we return to a rigged and confused hairball of globalist rules set in concrete overlayed by bureaucratic bloat, financial special interests and Congress’ inability to act.

America’s economic policies are on autopilot - we are flying into a mountain.

It’s like no one here understands tariffs. If there is a tariff on a product the buyer pays the tariff. If the normal cost of an item is one dollar and a 25 percent tariff is added, then the consumer has to pay 1.25 for it now. How is that helping the economy? And per usual, attacking me personally will in no way change that fact...
