In December, when two gunmen opened fire at a Hanukkah celebration on Sydney’s Bondi Beach, killing 15 people and wounding dozens more, Israel’s message to the global Jewish community was clear.
“Today, Jews are being hunted across the world,” Israel’s Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar said in the aftermath of the massacre, calling on Jews in Australia, Britain, France, Canada, and Belgium to “come home” to Israel.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu echoed the sentiment, urging Western governments to do more to protect Jewish citizens, while framing Israel as the only place where Jews could truly be safe.
Now the government appears to be backing up the words with action.
According to the Hebrew newspaper Makor Rishon, officials have begun advancing an emergency immigration plan called Aliyat HaTekuma, designed to fast-track the immigration process for those coming from countries experiencing a surge in antisemitism.
With a target of absorbing 30,000 new immigrants in 2026, the proposal promises shorter waiting times, financial support, employment placement, and housing assistance in designated cities.

I was visiting a group of college friends recently. Four out of the 12 guys at the weekend getaway were Jewish. Only one of the four is conservative. I don’t think Israel really wants the communist/progressive ones back.
I don’t think they will get too many
A great idea whose time has come.
Universally, people do what is best for themselves. If you have a job, and roots, you aren’t going to go anywhere. The people who moved to Israel were leaving horrible personal, and/or economic conditions and anything else would be preferable. I’ve known and known of a couple of Jews who went to Israel and served in the military and then came back. Even that is a huge sacrifice as that’s time they could have spent getting job seniority or a degree in something useful.
The only people they are likely to get will be refugees and those refugees will probably not be an economic benefit for a long time.
It’s too damn expensive in Israel, because the stupid leftist Labor party failed to repatriate the Jordanian occupiers in the “west bank” and “east” Jerusalem after they kicked their ass in 1967. 80% of the Arabs in the west bank were only there since 1948 when Israel won it back in 1967 - just 19 years! But the stupid Israeli left that was in power not only handed back the Temple Mount, but didn’t kick out all the Jordanian Arabs, who then started calling themselves “Palestinians.” Now those 170,000 or so Arabs are 2 million, and a much bigger problem. Israel could use that land for new citizens. Instead because of all the murderous animals running around Jenin and Ramalah, any Jews living in so-called “settlements” have to have massive security at a huge cost.
NEVER. I would die for the USA.

I’ll say it again. Bring them ALL here. Just don’t let them vote.
I’m not so sure that if you’re supportive of the Jewish faith that it’s a good idea to put most of them into a relatively small bullseye.
they cant even pray at their own temple, why come back
Let’s see. There’s the US and there’s Israel. If a 3rd country could chop off a piece of land and offer it to the Jews a lot of the anti-semitism would disappear and they could thrive after going through the growing pains. Wouldn’t take long as they’re one group that’s got their $hit together. Who’s gonna step up?
“If a 3rd country could chop off a piece of land and offer it to the Jews”
Not going to happen. The establishment wants diversity everywhere.
Israel was originally pretty leftist state. Ben Gurion, Golda Meir, Menachem Begin, and Shimon Peres were all leftists.
But Israel learned the hard way and now, the right is in charge! So they think, they will turn these people around!
Interestingly they just let 25 people prayed on the Temple Mount under police protection.
Do you realize how much of the land that was set aside for the Zionists in 1948, was much smaller historically. It is a bold statement calling Jordanians occupiers, when they were there for several centuries before the Jews were sent back in by the Rothschilds.
Bold statement from a complete retard.
Jordan invaded and occupied Israel and Jerusalem in 1948, until they were liberated in 1967. 80% of the Arabs in those areas were Jordanians who had only been there for 0-19 years - including "Palestinian" Rep. Rashida Tlaib's grandparents, who were born in Jordan. 177,000 Jews were thrown out of their homes in the "west bank" and Jerusalem. Most Arabs in "east" Jerusalem to this day do not have legal papers for their stolen homes. ALL of Jerusalem was cut off to Jews for those 19 years, Jordanian troops blew up the 3 largest synagogues there, and used Jewish gravestones to pave roads. In 1967, King Hussein revoked their Jordanian citizenship, in order to prop up the fake "Palestinian" fraud. Rothschilds, my ass. As if Mizrachi Jews (still a majority in 2026) haven't lived there unbroken for millennia. You are so gullible.
“Today, Jews are being hunted across the world,”
Uh, “hunted” *worldwide*? Sure. Right now in Costa Rica... pogroms! Guam? Relegation to ghettos. Iceland? Concentration camps!
It seems to me that this fellow is spinning a narrative of persecution in order to scare up from immigrants.
I seem to recall the last two major events both occurred in Israel. This planet is sliding fast down a dark slope.
