According to Pratt, she was given a two-day notice when the Aldi near North Hopkins Street and West Sherman Boulevard closed.
The second is a resolution declaring a food apartheid in the City of Milwaukee – this will mirror a similar declaration by Milwaukee County.
Food apartheid refers to systemic injustices that restrict access to affordable and nutritious food, specifically for low-income residents and racial minorities.

Yeah, the store will be open with nothing on the shelves and two employees who can barely run the register. And no new store owners will risk opening there, knowing they have to set aside two full months of full costs because of the law.

You know why real, full sugar, coke is the most common drink in Mexico and outsells cheaper, and tax-subsidized, water and diet drinks? Because real sugar coke is what the consumers in Mexico want.
You want to know why junk food outsells real food in the ghetto of the USA? For the same reason.
If healthy food could make a profit, someone would sell it.
And this ignores the entire theft and violence issue.
I take it the Commies have done their usual language transmogrification by changing the name of “food deserts” to “food apartheid” to invoke the extinct South African apartheid.

I looked up West Allis (Allis-Chambers) the area is like 70% white ? Population of about 60,000 and median income is 34-36K. But when I searched for crime in the area it was pretty bad. Theft was high so one can assume for an ALDI’s to close it has to be pretty bad. I shop Aldi’s all the time here in Louisiana and I never see any theft . (There is a walmart close by so the criminals probably like to steal top shelf food) LOL

The homicide rates in urban, Harris-voting, counties is 8-9 per 100,000.

This seems to be a better direction to go.
The average BMI of the shoppers would be a handy piece of information to determine if this has any merit.
