Maher's only concerned about the Demagogic Party, of which he is a diehard part. He'll vote for it even though the whole thing is violent, radical, and anti-American. This is because his only loyalty is to the Party. Just like any Commie's is.

We don't have to think too hard on this thing.
Now, let me tell you about the story that liberal algorithms locked out. Her name is Sia Weaver. And if you ask anyone in the blue sky bubble who that is, they'll look at you like a turkey looking up at the rain.
But she's kind of important in New York, being Major Mandani's chief of the office to protect tenants. And since Mayor Mandani's big issue is the rents too damn high. Yes, he stole this guy's act. It's a very key appointment in the most important city in the country, which is also our financial center. It matters that the mayor stands by, and I assume stands with someone who says things like, "If you don't believe in the government's sacred right to seize private property, it's over. Seize private property. Home ownership is racist. Elect more communists. Private property, especially home ownership, is a weapon of white supremacy." Really, even among the 20 million black Americans who own their own home.
I mean, these are the kind of utterances I might forgive as something a dumb white girl said while she was at Binoir because it's the kind of privilege hating you can only learn for $95,000 a year.
But these are statements made as an adult. Yes, for co-eds from elite private colleges, you're only a lesbian until graduation. But the communism lasts a lifetime.
Democrats seem to be having this debate whether or not Mayor Mandani is a socialist or a democratic socialist. Let me settle it. He's a straight-up communist. How do I know this?
Well, I'm reading between the lines when one of his major advisers says, "Elect more communists," which is fine. It's fine. It's a belief system. He's allowed to believe it, and people are allowed to vote for it. But if liberals deny it like he's just going through a goth phase, they're going to lose more elections. This is not a communist country, right? So, as I would say, and Bill, we can discuss this over some co-poluna, I hope. Um, that's still your party, and you got to show me anyone else in your party besides Federman who's on your side of this. Otherwise, it is what it is. And you might find more common cause breaking bread with that Donald Trump guy, which you did. So, uh, I'm glad to see him calling that out.
I would also point out that you may remember, for those of you that have been watching the show for a while, five years ago, when the Democrats—was it five, seven years ago maybe?—when the Democrats started saying Democrat socialist, it was AOC and Bernie really kept saying we're Democrat socialists. I kept saying from day one, I kept saying, "Well, eventually they'll drop Democrat and just call themselves socialists." So, Bill's already, what he's doing that's quite good there is he's already getting to the endgame. This socialist part is just the legal way of kind of ushering in communism, but this guy is a communist. And there is no such thing as a Democratic socialist. Socialism is inherently anti-democratic. Just like the grossly misnamed "Democratic Party" is.
As usual, Bill Maher starts to get it right and then pulls back. Yes, Mamdani is a communist. But the whole Democratic socialist thing is just a cover for communism. (That's how Fidel Castro portrayed himself before he took power, and the idiot media repeated his lies at the time.)
And sadly, New Yorkers will probably continue to vote for him.
It has been interesting to watch Maher’s audience as he has included anti-Woke jokes in his monologue and attacked the Democratic Party over the past couple of years. There are times when the audience doesn’t know what to do. Some clap and laugh but some sit in stunned silence. You can imagine them thinking “Wait a minute, he’s not supposed to be attacking the Democrats.” But as time goes on, the crowd increasingly just lets loose with laughter and clapping at all his anti-Woke and anti-Dem jokes and attacks. They’ve turned the corner.
As others have noted, Maher helped create the mess we are in today.
On the other hand, he often says correct (and bold) things that his audience would not otherwise hear. So, yeah. The guy is a jerk. But sometimes he will move the ball in the right direction.
Maher is not a mindless ideologue like, say, Rachel Maddow. I’ll give him that.
What are the differences between a socialist, a democratic socialist, and a communist?
Best illustrated by this example:
- a communist is altruistic, he only wants what he needs. If a communist sees a buthcher counter with steak and hamburger, he will only take the minimum he needs. He will forgo the steak since hamburger is good enough.
- Communism recognizes that men are not altrusitic and will take what they want regardless of need. Nor will they work so someone else can have the steak. The purpose of socialism is too create the conditions necessary for communism. The government is necessary to regulate what the socialist can have. The government also ‘educates’ and creates the kind of man who will automatically act like a communist. This is why some say that under communism, the state will wither away, it is no longer needed to impose communism.
- democratic socialist differs from a socialist in that in a democratic socialist state, all things are decided by a vote. The people will vote on how much hamburger you can have. Of course, a true democratic socialist will admit that their systems is unworkable because there are too many decisions. No one will get anything done since all their time is taken up by voting. Therefore, the people get to decide by their vote, who will be the government and make the decisions. So, you’re back to socialism.
The bottom line is this: you can’t have steak unless you’re one of the elites running the government.
No, but the teachers unions have been working on it for over a century and they're almost there.
Bill Maher still lives in a world where Republicans wore patent leather white shoes and all looked like Judge Smalls from Caddy Shack or Mitt Romney and hated Jews (or Catholic guys like Bill Maher everyone thinks are Jewish).
No, Bill, the caddies and guys like Rodney Dangerfield from Caddy Shack are now the Republican Party.
There are still a few white-shoe-wearing-asshats in the Senate, but it’s not their party anymore.
