Border Patrol head Greg Bovino said that deceased anti-ICE agitator Alex Pretti was armed as if to want to inflict "maximum damage and massacre law enforcement" before he was shot by Border Patrol agents on Saturday.
Bovino, who said the agency was involved in an operation to target a criminal illegal immigrant, told reporters in a press conference, "DHS law enforcement officers were conducting a targeted operation in Minneapolis against an illegal alien, Jose Huerta Chuma. You can see this illegal alien on the screen to my left and right. That is Jose Huerta Chuma, whose criminal history includes domestic assault to intentionally inflict bodily harm, disorderly conduct, and driving without a valid license."
"During this operation, an individual approached US Border Patrol agents with a nine-millimeter semi-automatic handgun. The agents attempted to disarm the individual, but he violently resisted. Fearing for his life and the lives and safety of fellow officers, a Border Patrol agent fired defensive shots. Medics on the scene immediately delivered medical aid to the subject, but the subject was pronounced dead at the scene. The suspect also had two loaded magazines and no accessible ID. This looks like a situation where an individual wanted to do maximum damage and massacre law enforcement."

In the “pink jacket” video it clearly looks like he’s assaulting a bystander when agents pulled him off of her.
Please look for this video, tell me if I’m nuts.

Walz said he did. But Walz has a history of lying.
The guy should surrendered without resisting. And he is dead for that.
But saying someone carrying concealed with two magazines is “looking for maximum damage” is being a bit dramatic. Lots of licensed people carry with two magazines.
Both sides need to tone down the rhetoric a bit. The locals need cooperate with the Feds and the state government needs to stop inciting this whole thing.
The boy got what he deserved. Don’t take a gun to a “peaceful
BLM and Aunt Teefuses riot.” You could end up shot.

The local news is saying he worked at the VA. Of course they have already turned him into saint.
The shooting occurred on 26th Street W and Nicollet Avenue, south Minneapolis, where the Border Patrol operation was taking place.
This is less than one mile down the street on Nicollet Avenue where the now infamous "Child Learing Center" Somali day care center from the Nick Shirley video is located, at 1411 Nicollet Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55403.
Coincidence, or just the other half of what was really going on?
Was this operation targeted at that location on Nicollet to send a message?
Was Alex Pretti just in the wrong place at the wrong time? Pretti was safely on the sidewalk with the other people who were recording the operation. As a "citizen recorder" as Walz was asking for, he was legally safe on the sidewalk and away from the "zone of operation" where federal agents were staged.
By walking off of the sidewalk and on the the street, and then walking down the street with his camera in hand, Pretti stopped being a bystander recorder and entered into the police action zone, which is illegal. He probably thought he was going to get a better video than the others who stayed on the sidewalk.
