In 1988, if you had told anyone that the Soviet Union would cease to exist just four years later, you would have been dismissed as a crank. The institutions looked solid, the bureaucracy entrenched, and the power absolute. Yet by 1992, it was history.
Today, European politicians in Brussels, Berlin, and Paris suffer from the same dangerous optimism. They believe they are so safely ensconced in their institutional frameworks that public anger can never truly throw them out of the saddle. But looking at the trajectory of the European Union, I believe we are closer to a revolutionary moment than the elites dare to imagine.
We often hear comparisons to the 1930s, to Munich, to 1938. But this is the wrong history book. If you want to understand Europe’s current predicament, look instead to France in 1788 or Russia in 1917.

And not a minute too soon.
If only they weren’t such smug totalitarians this wouldn’t be an issue.
It will be a reverse 1848. That year saw many attempts at socialist revolutions against established monarchies across Europe. The revolutions failed, and the monarchies mostly became more reactionary.
In the near future, we may see many right-wing nationalist revolutions against established socialist regimes, which may well succeed, leading to an end to globalism.
I've been saying this for a while. But it's not what we're expecting. The UK will be conquered.
The French may build a wall around Paris.

Something like this after the Fall of Rome.
There's that word again.
The right wing may try to stage a revolution. The socialist creeps will use the Moslems to genocide the right wing. The socialist left governments will freely give guns and ammo to the Moslems for the genocide of Christian and Jewish peoples. Remember, Nazies and Commies are identical cousins. Socialism always resorts to mass murder.
Let’s hope so and let’s hope those that love their country defeat the forces of Islam and the tyrants running the EU, France, Germany and Britain.

In both cases a good part of the army went over to the revolutionaries.
Would that happen if the EU is challenged? That’s the key question. Because as the saying goes, history turns on the point of a bayonet.
Except Andrei Amalrik wrote the book in 1970.
IBWR* from the Zeepers as they DESPERATELY try to defend the tyranny in Europe and Ukraine.
*In Before it’s Worse in Russia
Hungary is one of the few EU countries with sensible leadership.
,,, yeah, Hungary and Poland.
The thing about the EU is they have no standing Army or fighting force to fight back against any revolutionary force, they would depend on the fighting forces of member states to enforce the edicts of the EU Council.
Two horrible, bloody, mindless World Wars fought in Europe in the 20th Century.
Then, the socialist EU arrives, and negates the entire reason for those terrible wars.
A revolution is coming, and very soon.
And Poland... and the Czech Republic and Slovakia...
> The thing about the EU is they have no standing Army <
Good point. The EU would have to convince (or depend on) the various national governments to put down any large uprising.
There is no doubt that the governments of France and Germany would follow EU directives. Then it’s back to the question: what would those armies do?
The EU scam was exposed once the USAID money was shut off.
The only hope for Western Civilization to recover in Europe is for the globalist, neo-marxist EU to collapse.
