After months of scurrilous accusations and gloating over how the Epstein case would bring about his end, President Trump agreed to sign the Congressional resolution authorizing the release of all the Epstein files in the government's possession. The results were not those Democrats had hoped for.
Virginia Giuffre, one of Jeffrey Epstein's under-aged, sexually exploited victims, turned out to be a big fan of Donald Trump. In her book "Nobody's Girl" Giuffre had only positive things to say about him. She said Trump was not involved in Epstein's sex-trafficking network, was kind to her, never treated her inappropriately, and would consider him a hero for releasing the Epstein files.
Emails in the Epstein files show that in 2013, five years after Epstein was convicted for soliciting a minor for prostitution in Florida, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) asked Epstein for a donation to help Democrats win a majority in the House. Jeffries now says "I don't remember doing that."
Emails in the Epstein files show that non-voting House member Stacey Plaskett (D-Virgin Islands), a person who in 2023 said "Trump needs to be shot," was on the phone with Epstein during a 2019 House Judiciary Committee hearing getting his suggestions for how to damage Trump. Jaimie Raskin (D-NY), the top Democrat on that Committee, defended this, saying "she was just getting input from her constituent."
Epstein's email files also showed that Larry Summers, former Harvard President and US Treasury Secretary during the Clinton Administration, solicited sexual advice from Epstein and flew on the "Lolita Express" (Epstein's private jet) to a Caribbean honeymoon that included a stopover on Epstein's private island. A spokesperson for Summers pointed out that "this was before Epstein was convicted of any sex crimes." Summers has since resigned from the Board of OpenAI and is "stepping back from public commitments."
Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Tex) tried to divert attention from Democrats by pointing out that EPA head Lee Zeldin had previously received campaign donations from a Jeffrey Epstein. As it turns outs, this was a different Jeffrey Epstein, a doctor who lives in Zeldin's former congressional district in New York. Crockett went on CNN to explain that "Zeldin has admitted that he did receive donations from a person whose name is Jeffrey Epstein. This proves I wasn't trying to mislead anyone."
Meanwhile, in a recent episode of ABC's "The View," co-host Joy Behar asserted "isn't it obvious he was — that Trump was involved with Epstein?! I mean..." at which point co-host Sunny Hostin interjected "He's mentioned over a thousand times." "Yeah, there are more pictures of Trump with Epstein than pictures of Kim Kardashian of herself! How many more things do we have to see before people believe that he was involved with Epstein?!"
Sensing that these remarks could become grounds for another multi-million dollar defamation judgment against the network, co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin reminded her co-hosts that "there's no evidence of wrongdoing by Trump. Sure we see pictures of Trump and Epstein at the same parties or other events. Obviously, they know each other. But there was a point 20 some years ago when Trump banned Epstein from Mar-a-Lago for hitting on the 14-year-old daughter of another guest and later cooperated with the investigation that led to Epstein's conviction for trafficking minors for sex. ABC's already been successfully sued by Trump for false statements made by George Stephanopoulos that defamed Trump. Let's not make that same mistake."
They were just looking for a distraction from the government shutdown backfiring.
The Coyote and Roadrunner would be proud.
New Dems have nothing to do w Epstein
Schumer Pelosi et al. They’re out
