Gallego: Trump Is an ‘Idiot,’ He Doesn’t Understand How the Military Works [Sen. Gallego (D-AZ)]
Breitbart ^ | September 30, 2025 | Pam Key

Tuesday on CNN’s “NewsCentral,” Sen. Ruben Gallego (D-AZ) claimed President Donald Trump was an “idiot” who “doesn’t actually understand how the military works.”

Co-host Boris Sanchez said, “Senator, is there anything in place that would prevent the president from going about using certain cities in the United States as a training ground for the military, as he described it earlier today?”

Gallego said, “Look, the president is an idiot. He doesn’t actually understand how the military works. The first thing it’s going to be is that most U.S. citizens will stand against that in civil protests, and you’ll have many of us joining them in that if they try to do such a thing.”

“Look, the president is an idiot.”

Coming from a member of the party that thinks men can become women just because they feel like it.

The military has one job, to be ready willing and able to kill our enemies and break their things until they decide to quit. Being an agent of social change, nation building or anything that detracts from that mission isn’t part of their job description. Note that does not mean that during a natural disaster the military can’t use their training and equipment to provide relief, but not at the expense of their main purpose.

Trump doesn’t understand WHY the bloated bureaucracy of the military industrial complex should be allowed to spend billions upon billions to do little in making America more secure.

Rule One.

The larger the organization the more likely the organization is operated for the benefit of those who operate it; NOT those who the organization is charged to serve.

Trump is attempting to root out the dead weight who have focused on promoting political and social agendas TOTALLY out of step with the hard working taxpayers who fund these bureaucratic behemoths.

At least he’s not the idiot that lost the electoral college, the popular vote, and all swing states, and who can’t assemble a coherent sentence without laughing like a jackass.

Or the idiot who had to drop out because his brain had turned into a pudding pop.

Here’s what I think of the military geniuses on display yesterday, their strategies haven’t won a war since World War II and they build a paper airplane for less than a billion dollars

He understands that many of them are destroying the military, and that it is time to reverse that course. It’s you Senator, who is a clueless lying anti-American traitor who needs to be removed by a strong MAGA person.

The first thing it’s going to be is that most U.S. citizens will stand against that in civil protests,

I don't think anyone other than paid activists will be protesting getting rid of fat generals and male soldiers in dresses.

“most U.S. citizens will stand against that in civil protests”

What an odd thing to say, even for a democrat. The vast majority of American citizens support the military and law enforcement. The democrats don’t. They will get their retired teachers, black commie agitators, antifa terrorists, and illegal alien criminals to protest while the rest of the city enjoys the peace and quiet of the cities when the criminals are locked up.

But fdie on this hill democrats. Please do.

Call him what you want, Rube, but the Constitution calls him “Commander in Chief.” Suck it.

Yep, that’s how the military works, at least in this country.

A wise man and great general once summed it up best:

And through all this welter of change and development your mission remains fixed, determined, inviolable. It is to win our wars. Everything else in your professional career is but corollary to this vital dedication. All other public purposes,º all other public projects, all other public needs, great or small, will find others for their accomplishment;º but you are the ones who are trained to fight. Yours is the profession of arms, the will to win, the sure knowledge that in war there is no substitute for victory, that if you lose, the Nation will be destroyed, that the very obsession of your public service must be Duty, Honor, Country.

Senator Gallego served in the U.S. Marine Corps, rising up to the rank of corporal.

Adolph Hitler and Benito Mussolini also rose up to the rank of corporal.

On the other hand, Elvis Presley and Drew Carey rose up to the rank of Sergeant.
