So that shoots a hole through $70 for a family of four to each have a burger.

Lol... Who’s kidding who?

Or... You could just cook up some of those chicken nuggets and dip them in chocolate...

(And have you noticed the fast-food workers seem to just slap things together these days and not care a wit about the food quality? I got two overpriced tacos with hardly anything in them recently.)

Yep, I was in Taco Bell a while ago and ordered a box of them. When I got home I opened them up. They weren’t even half filled. They had more lettuce than meat.

It’s only $17 if you pay it. Consider the savings if you don’t, money and health

Not that it changes anything about Newscum but that looks like an airport Burger King.

>It’s not an airport.<

Pretty sure this is the airport Burger King near Gate E2; Terminal 3.

But will people pay it?

Some people will, but enough to stay in business? We'll see soon enough.

For what it’s worth, I just looked at the on-line menu prices at two Burger Kings in the greater Bay Area. A large Whopper combo meal is priced between $13.49 and $14.29

“It’s not an airport.”

Then, where is it?

Yep. No doubt just about everything in CA is overly expensive but airport terminal restaurants are notoriously expensive and not really a good example. I’m sure the regular outlets will soon be right up there though. Everything is only getting worse there.

“A meal of 9 oz baked salmon with broccoli spears, house salad and freshly made bread is $27 in Florida including tax. I tip $5.”

My wife eat out at this one family run restaurant here in Kumamoto , Japan once a week . I have 8 pieces of sushi for ex。( salmon , tuna , amberjack , scallop , sea bream , salmon eggs , sea urchin , and octopus . I drink a 180ml of sake with the meal . Wife has simmered sea bream set meal which inc. rice , miso soup , veggie and one other dish which varies . Drink green tea . While I’m finishing my sake she orders a small dish pf vanilla ice cream . Total bill is ....$ 27 !

This will fuel the drive to further automation of the fast food industry.

1 lb of 80/20 hamburger about 6.50 in my neighborhood...4 large hamburger buns for about 4 bucks. Lettuce, onions ,tomatoes in the amounts supplied with ff burger about 1.50...store bought fries about 3.00...gas to cook..about 0.5 bucks, ketchup, mayonnaise about 1 buck. About $17.00 bucks for 4 burgers and fries +24 oz soda from 2 liter bottle about 0.75...total 19 bucks for 4.
Taste better ..meat is better and relatively fresh...
4 meals vs. a meal from who knows how clean the food preparer is...not even close...in value...if one buys in bulk, even better value...
P.S. Newsom is a total sleazebag. God is watching.

Used to be a big burger ..decent big size. I almost never go there. Food quality ratio vs price is less than 0.5.They should go bankrupt.
