The Richmond, Virginia-based 4th Circuit Court of Appeals on Wednesday voted 9-6 to keep the block on DOGE’s access to social security data.
The court’s entire slate of judges (en banc) weighed in on Wednesday: Chief Judge Diaz (Obama), Judge King (Clinton), Judge Gregory (Clinton), Judge Wynn (Obama), Judge Thacker (Obama), Judge Harris (Obama), Judge Heytens (Biden), Judge Benjamin (Biden), and Judge Berner (Biden) voted to deny the motion to stay.
Judge Wilkinson (Reagan), Judge Niemeyer (George H.W. Bush), Judge Agee (George W. Bush), Judge Richardson (Trump), Judge Quattlebaum (Trump), and Judge Rushing (Trump) voted to grant the motion to stay.

SCOTUS is the next step?
Financial audits are NOT "fishing expeditions". Every enterprise in the world requires financial audits. It's good business.
The idea that judges think they have the authority and power to block the executive would go away real fast if properly challenged.
Auditing Social Security is an executive branch function. The chief executive and not the courts should determine who can do that.
Judges in black robed consider themselves as the superior branch. SCOTUS will side with the black robed.
Only way to solve this unconstitutional issue is for Congress to review and defend district courts if they usurp executive branch functions.
when someone offers you 1 million dollars or more to rule a certain way, the judicial tyrant grins and gavels
The SCOTUS cowards are going to have to get off their duffs and start doing their job. The weaponized Judiciary that nobody ever voted for has destroyed the Executive and Legislative branches. The males need to send the four broads shopping and work this crap out so all three branches are even again and the weaponized jackass “district judges” are brought under control.
But there are no Obama or Bush or Clinton...judges. spit
What is the problem? Have them hired as employees of the SS department and work as directed by the Director.
We now have the federal judiciary informing the Executive Branch that it has no right to access information in departments under the Executive Branch. Either that spineless worm John Roberts finally does his damn job or Trump needs to start ignoring the judiciary.
One need only look at the roll call of votes to put the lie to CJ Roberts’ incorrect assertion that there are no Biden/Obama versus Bush/Trump schisms within the judiciary.
This was a clearly partisan decision by the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals.
Can anyone give a rational explanation as to why Federal judges think they have the authority to intervene in the administration of bureaucratic affairs?
And can anyone give a rational explanation as to why the Trump administration kowtows to the Federal judges?
You’re exactly right 👍
If Repubs, in the Big, beautiful bill, pushed for cutting all federal agencies (DOT, DOI, DOL, EPA, etc, etc) and reduce the 3,000,000 federal workforce in half, enough money would be saved to shore up Medicaid and still reduce federal spending by a massive amount, and get much closer to the initial $2 trillion... which became $1 trillion, now only $160 billion saved by DOGE, and judges, etc, couldn’t be cited as excuses/reasons here why at least $1 trillion in cuts didn’t occur:

For better or worse, the House Budget instructs committees to INCREASE Medicaid funding by 25%. It also allows INCREASING debt to over $50 Trillion… So, you be the judge of the best reason to vote “no…”

EXACTLY.
Auditing and explanation of federal expenditures are a requirement under Article I of our Constitution.
IRS is EXECUTIVE branch, NOT judicial.
Judges seem to be working for the communist insurgents in the deep state, NOT doing what they’re limited to Constitutionally.
The constitution gives congress the power to regulate the courts(including the USSC in many cases). So where is congress?
Now we know the largest pot of cash the Beltway bureaucrats are pillaging. Really.
Or for the black robed to disappear
Congress is sitting back and applauding.
