“Arrest Hochul”: Calls for Arrest of NY Gov. Kathy Hochul Grow after She Freaks Out, Vows Defiance of Trump’s Orders [WATCH]
American Tribune ^ | April 01, 2025 | Adam Stanton

While speaking to far-left political commentator David Packman, New York Governor Kathy Hochul committed to obstructing President Donald Trump’s mass deportation agenda by promising to prevent New York State police from cooperating with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). When a clip of her freak-out was posted to X, conservative commentators reacted by calling for the Democrat’s arrest, citing laws which ban state officials from disobeying federal mandates.

For context, her remarks align with New York’s longstanding sanctuary policies, which include a 2017 executive order limiting state cooperation with ICE and a 2020 law banning ICE arrests in courthouses. This radical stance has brought her into conflict with the President and Tom Homan, the Border Czar, who want to keep America’s border safe.

Such was shown in her March 23, 2025, interview, Governor Kathy Hochul promised to undermine the president’s authority. She said, “We’re not going to allow this mass deportation, where, where we will cooperate. And I did this even under the Biden administration. If you have a warrant, or you know someone’s on a terrorism watch list or committing crimes in their home country or committing crimes here, that’s a different category.”

Seemingly moderating her radical views, she offered a few exceptions. Hochul said, “I will help you with those to protect everyone, whether the newly arriving New Yorkers or where they’ve lived here their entire lives. So that’s really clear to me, but don’t bleed over into going to schools and sensitive places.”

Pivoting back to her far-left beliefs, she attacked the few counties in her state that are committed to border security. The governor added, “So our state policy, our state law, does not allow for our state police to be involved in those situations. Now what we have are some renegade counties in New York because individual counties can sign a pact with ICE, and we have a lot of them, some on Long Island, some in upstate New York, where there’s different political views.”

Concluding her remarks, Hochul confirmed that she would allow the state police, which is controlled by the governor’s office, to aid ICE. She said, “They are cooperating with their local police departments, but what I control is the state police, and they will not cooperate in that.”

Conservatives were incensed with her insurrection and expressed their anger in the comments under the clip. Senator Mike Lee (R-UT) posted a popular reply which read, “Does this border on treason? Or is it insurrection?” Jeremy Karl, who works at the Clairmont Institute, a conservative think tank, said, “A lot of people, including elected officials, are going to have to go to prison if the rule of law is going to be restored in America.”

Among the comments, others drew attention to Kathy Hochul’s disregard for federal law. One of these replies read, “Please oh please interfere with the federal government and their enforcement of federal law I beg of you to stand up and get in the way 😂.”

I was in NY last weekend. Rode w my complaining sibling from Connecticut to an event in the Hudson Valley in Westchester. The main highway is so poorly maintained it’s worse than the old road I used to ride on to get to the back gate to the Base in Mississippi I asked if the roads were obviously worse in my from Connecticut. Oh yes. It’s obvious to everyone

My other sibling pays about 18,000 -eighteen thousand -per year in taxes. For that and for hochul to defy the orders of a duly elected president. And to defy the law.

She can’t pave 287 but she can work hard for the illegals

She’s making the State’s Rights Argument

while accepting the local rights prerogative.

Not screaming.

It seems to me that as a politician, these governors, mayors, DA’s would all jump on board the ICE train.

All the polls say that Americans LIKE what Trump is doing about illegal immigration by a whopping margin, 60/40, 80/20, etc.

They could bask in the glow of electorate approval if they would just join Trump instead of fighting him on this.

It truly doesn’t make any political sense for a politician to intentionally go against their electorate in such an obvious fashion.

And they really don’t have to do any work to achieve it, either. All she would have to do is say, “We are cooperating fully with the federal agencies to remove these dangerous criminals from our streets and make them safe for all citizens,” and leave it at that......................

The main highway is so poorly maintained

The roads in New York are worse than the roads in Somalia. The government is too busy stealing the gas tax money to spend on woke policies instead of highways and bridges.

Well, if she can successfully defy Federal law, then Trump can successfully defy illegal rulings by the Federal judges.

Do you have any theories as to why the taxpayers are not fixing the problems?

Downstate voters, 10-1 Dem to GOP, determine elections in NYS.

Hot pants Hochul sounds a lot like Governor George Wallace. He resisted federal law enforcement too.

It is like the way the Cherokee were screwed ... the illegals moved in and squatted when gold was discovered in Cherokee lands and since the squatters represented a much bigger future voting block of largely ignorant, illiterate, easily manipulated people, and at that time the Cherokee on average were more literate and politically savvy and becoming quite prosperous with newspapers, etc, the politicians accommodated the squatters instead of the current residents, and forced the Cherokee out, in spite of the Cherokee victory in the Supreme Court.

Population replacement isn’t a theory, it is a practice predating the WEF.
