Is Vandalism & Violence Against Tesla Justified? [semi-satire]
Semi-News/Semi-Satire ^ | 16 March 2025 | John Semmens

Over the past few months attacks against Tesla charging stations and dealerships have started to increase in frequency. In Tigard, Oregon a Tesla dealership has been repeatedly fired upon. In Lynnwood, a suburb of Seattle, Washington a Tesla dealership reported that six Cybertrucks were were spray-painted with swastikas and profanity directed at CEO Elon Musk. President Trump labeled these attacks "terrorism."

Over on MSNBC Prime, host Alicia Menendez called these attacks "protests" and wondered whether "calling it domestic terrorism is an infringement on First Amendment freedom of speech, assembly, and airing of grievances. Seeing how Mr. Musk has angered so many by recommending drastic cuts in federal spending he's got to expect some blow back."

Trump rejected the notion that "these attacks on a business could ever qualify as legitimate freedom of speech. The First Amendment protects peaceful protests. If people want to criticize Elon or the Tesla cars they have the right to make speeches, write letters, post comments on websites, assemble in public places without blocking traffic, or sue him in court. They don't have the right to burn charging stations, fire bullets at him or his business partners, or damage property. They don't have the right to do any of these violent things against any business or any person. Anyone who does these violent things is breaking the law and will be prosecuted and punished if caught and convicted."

In related news, Attorney General Pam Bondi announced that "a 42-year-old transgender person named Lucy Grace Nelson (AKA Justin Thomas Nelson) who is accused of throwing a Molotov cocktail (a gasoline bomb in a bottle) into a Tesla showroom at a dealership in Loveland, Northern Colorado has been arrested and faces up to 20 years in prison for this dangerous act of violence."

“Justified” is a pretty low bar, for some.

Our church today, had a visiting pastor give her sermon. It was about fire being a tool and a metaphorical representation of anger. She then explained that fires created like injustice, racism, bigotry, need to have backfires set to remedy the damage.

Really. Nasty little thing that sounds like a harmless little lady. Last month it was about the injustice of casting fishing nets to catch undocumented migrants.

A real passionate lover of USAID.

In 1968, when rioters were torching buildings in Chicago, Mayor Daley told the police chief to "shoot to kill" anyone throwing a lit Molotov cocktail. We need some Mayor Daley's today.

If such actions are justified as the idiot MSNBC host seems to think, then such attacks against all democrat businesses, all democrat vehicles, all democrat leaning schools, all democrat administrators etc etc etc are justified.

Oh, but those folks are “high-minded.” Just ask them. Their acts serve a greater cause. Couldn’t be that they’re just vandals/arsonists/sociopaths looking for an excuse, could it?

No. What DOGE is doing is lessening the burden of current and future gov’t spending on us taxpayers and our children in the future. Those people doing this damage are purposely hurting those people who are employed by Tesla, ruining a product that improves the environment via lower emissions. They are also helping those people who are defrauding the US taxpayer. And to all those boo-hoo stories about children starving in Africa because USAID is now accountable, 20% of the kids in the US go to bed hungry. I say lets feed our own kids first, and take care of our homeless and, if anything is left over, maybe help those outside the US. Meanwhile, why not let the African leaders sell their luxury estates and limos and start feeding their own people instead of using kickbacks and bribes to feather their own nests.

Might I suggest Cornerstone Chapel in Leesburg Virginia. They have their sermons on youtube, and they are Bible oriented.

Once again, we hear it from the left: "Our violence is free speech, your speech is violence." This smelly hypocrite would be singing a different tune if her property were vandalized for political reasons: "Fascist!!! Racist!!! Misogynist!!!"

We are without a pastor and have been for six months. Occasionally we get a visiting guest pastor like this one. Virtuous cancers.

Violence is ALWAYS justified if you really really really hate a guy.

Sometimes white robes are used gor “privacy” though.

Violence is never the answer, unless the question is; “What does V-I-O-L-E-N-C-E spell?”
