The American conservative movement, usually known for being well-organized and having zero infighting, has somehow descended into civil war over something called H-1B visas. Here is what you need to know about the controversy ripping everyone apart:
What is an H-1B visa?
Not to be confused with H1N1 swine flu, an H-1B visa allows people from India to come to America to build rockets and compete in spelling bees.
Can people who are not from India receive a visa?
The H-1B Visa is not exclusive to residents of India. Central and South America residents are also eligible, as long as they can show proof that they are Indian.
How does an immigrant receive an H-1B visa?
The U.S. embassy in New Delhi hosts spelling bees and math competitions throughout the year. The spelling bee winner and the champion "mathlete" each receive an H-1B visa.
Why does Elon Musk want more H-1B visas to be awarded?

Why are people opposed to having more H-1B visas?

I have a lot of Indian friends. They are also clever.
I work with a lot of Indians at a large corporation. They are all very nice. Not all are here on H-1B visas. Some are permanent green card residents. Some are US citizens.
Ok. The last part is understandable.
I usually like the Babylon Bee but, in this instance, they can go to hell.
The media is doing everything it can to distract from the millions of illegals that are coming into the country. And it seems to be working. Apparently, dealing with that is off the table.

Points to one of the real reasons: an H1B can’t decide to found a startup that competes with his former employer.

Why is musk bragging on Chinese kids working til 3 am in a communist country as an ideal for us who value sleep, leisure, activities and happiness as a way to achieve innovation as opposed to the exhausted abused, neglected communist Chinese who steal our ideas and technologies because they are exhausted, the way their government prefers them to be?

There are only three surgeons I am considering for a difficult surgery.

I have to try to be objective and not let the “Asians are smarter because of their Tiger Moms” influence my decision.
Everyone who gets this surgery goes back and forth in trying to decide who to use notwithstanding the whole insurance issue.
There is truth to the idea that Tiger Moms can really push the Chinese and other Asians.

I don’t care what my many doctors’ backgrounds are. I want to know how they are going to work with me. I go by their reputations and their willingness to do what they and I agree on to heal me
This argument is about Elon musk telling Americans to “fuck themselves in the face” he’s got the power of the White House behind him and anyone who disagrees with him he’ll bring so much resources with him to defeat them they’ll be overwhelmed
