I’m not fully aware of what was in the bill... but, the idea of a shutdown doesn’t frighten me. If Thomas Massie voted NO? I think I’m good with that.

Thomas Massie wouldn’t have voted YES if Congress drafted the 1792 Federal budget and it was up for a vote in 2024.

You gotta give to get. It’s how the game is played. We will have to wait and see what the Democrats were promised in the next round. The Freedom Caucus is very principled and reliable. It’s probably not easy with so much pressure.

It didn’t receive unanimous commicrat support. One voted ‘present’ and 14 didn’t vote at all. Maybe Jim’s definition of unanimous is different than mine.

I never got to see yesterday’s bill so am curious what the commicrats added back to it to make it two pages longer.
