The View‘s Ana Navarro-Cárdenas took an unorthodox approach to defending President Joe Biden’s pardon of his son, Hunter Biden, for any and all federal crimes he might have committed over the the last decade and change on Monday.
In a tweet fired off on Monday night, Navarro-Cárdenas scoffed at the idea that Biden’s sweeping pardon of his progeny was setting a poor precedent.
“Woodrow Wilson pardoned his brother-in-law, Hunter deButts. Bill Clinton pardoned his brother, Roger. Donald Trump pardoned his daughter’s father-in-law, Charlie Kushner. And just appointed him Ambassador to France. But tell me again how Joe Biden ‘is setting precedent’? 🤣🤣,” she wrote.

Actually she’s more honest than most Leftists in that most Leftists actually do support the pardon in principle - since it gets fellow Democrats off the hook, but instead their problem is that Trump now has the path cleared to pardon whoever he chooses, and while the Democrats can still, and will still, bitch about it, they’ll sound even more like idiots to Americans.
