President Donald Trump lit it up over the weekend at McDonald's in Bucks County, PA. He worked the fry station and the drive thru window.
It got all kinds of attention and he looked like he was in his element. The left lost their minds over it, which made it extra hilarious.
It showed once again, Trump's natural ability to interact with people as opposed to Kamala Harris' lack of ability. It was a brilliant campaign move and brought epic images including this one.
He was also cheered by steelworkers in Latrobe, PA and at the Pittsburgh Steelers game on Sunday.
And Kamala? She spoke to...Al Sharpton.
But Trump also had an interesting interaction at a barbershop in the Bronx at the end of last week with Fox's Lawrence Jones. While some clips leaked before now, Fox ran the spot Monday morning. Once again it showed how comfortable he was, just sitting there, talking with people and taking questions that were important to them.

“Everybody was struck by the sight of him, but once he got in he started cracking jokes and he kind of gave us a warm feeling. Everybody kind of loosened up and as he was walking by, everybody shook his hand,” the barbershop owner Javier Rodriguez Jr. told the New York Post.
Rodriguez is a registered Democrat, but he voted for Trump in 2016 and 2020, and said he would be making his decision when he went to vote. His father who used to be the owner, Javier Rodriguez Sr., was also a registered Democrat and he said he would be voting for Trump again.
“I like Donald Trump. I like his policies. I’m a Democrat but I don’t like what Democrats have been doing to the American people. What I like about Trump is first he’s going to lower the taxes on the tips and social security,” he said.
"You look great!"

One of them asked what I think has to be one of the best questions Trump has gotten — basically what had he learned, what would he do now differently. Trump said he had to get the right people.
"It's about people. It's all about people."

I think the first time he trusted people more and took recommendations. Now we see people who look promising for change, like JD Vance and Elon Musk to deal with government inefficiency.
The customers were of course concerned about the border and the economy. One former police detective said that was the most important issue to him.
.@LawrenceBJones3: "What would you say is the most important issue facing the country right now?"
Former law enforcement officer: "For me, it's the border... How do we control the sanctuary cities?"
President Trump: "We get RID of them." pic.twitter.com/7vm98pHSFm— Trump War Room (@TrumpWarRoom) October 21, 2024
The owner told Trump about how his rent had been "significantly lower" five years ago, it's gone up $1200 since. But the most astonishing thing was what he said about how much his energy bill has gone up under Biden and Harris over the last seven months.
A Bronx barber tells President Trump that his energy bills went from $2,100 to $15,000 under Kamala Harris' economy.
President Trump will cut your energy bills IN HALF in his first year as president. pic.twitter.com/PdE6gr3gyM— Trump War Room (@TrumpWarRoom) October 21, 2024
As noted, Rodriguez said his energy bill had gone from $2100 to $15,000. How is that possibly sustainable? You could see how that really hit Trump. He said one of the main things to help bring prices down was dealing with energy — "Drill baby, drill!" — and he wanted to cut present energy bills like this in half.
Here's the full Fox and Friends segment:
Isn’t he supposed to do one of these in Philadelphia? Anyone know the date?
Trump and Vance are running an unusually great campaign.
Harris and Walz are running an unusually bad campaign.
The media keeps telling me the race is really, really tight.
I do not believe it.
Trump learned from his mistakes from the past. Good job.
Two weeks to go.
I like this sort of campaigning the best. Of course a national campaign has more territory to cover- but this is very American. These guys will remember the day they shot the breeze in the barber shop with Trump.
Most every "time" that you've ever had was more effected by the people you're amongst than the circumstance or the result.
Sure producing more Gas and Oil will help, particularly with transportation cost.
But we also need to “Build Baby Build” as in electric generation plants. Coal and Nuclear.
The electric grid has grown extremely fragile under Biden.
The idiots pushing unsustainable Green Energy have had their way for far too long. The consequences is a grid that will probably fail at the first sign of a heat wave or a sustained cold snap.
Solar panels produce very little electricity during the short winter days and wind power is sorely dependent on wind.
Industrial economies are dependent of cheap dependable electricity which wind and solar can not supply.
It certainly includes more nuclear plants. Probably coal as well.
Abandonment of solar and wind would be a positive move.
Global Warming and the war on carbon is the biggest con job in history.
In an honest economy it is a niche market at best.
Only attractive to those who wish to live “Off The Grid” or they are so remote as electric power is not available at an affordable price.
It seems Vance has disappeared...or the MSM is refusing to spotlight him.
I suspect the MSM is intentionally not reporting in Vance’s campaigning.
If the campaigns were reversed, all you’d hear from the MSM is how the GOP is out of touch and how the Dems are connecting with real voters.
The Trump campaign must be unnerving them to no end.
This is huge. Whoever came up with the idea to go to a barbershop is freaking brilliant. Those shops are the core of the community in the villages around New York.
“It seems Vance has disappeared...or the MSM is refusing to spotlight him.”
Come to think of it, he’s been pretty absent from conservative media recently, too.
“Whoever came up with the idea to go to a barbershop is freaking brilliant.”
I think it was Lawrence Jones from Fox. He said he’d been telling GOP candidates for years that the best way to know what “the people” are thinking, is to visit barber shops. Trump is the only one who actually did it.
Jones has a tour of barbershops.
The media is preparing the upcoming battlefield by “reassuring” us that Harris and the Pedo are a lock to win the popular vote. Sure they are
Jones is a hell of a sharp guy. I have huge respect for him.
NY has raised oil/gas prices up, ridiculously high, to justify their upcoming ban on gas stoves in new apartment buildings .... and, their conversion to all electric appliances.
They can cut the power off any time they want....gas is a bit trickier.
Of course, "Dancing Queen Tampon Tim" seems to have disappeared, too. But maybe they are keeping him under wraps.
Question to anyone who would care to answer, how much would these increases need to go down to meet your expectations? In other words, would the 69% increase in the cost of eggs need to decrease by half to "only" a 35% increase? Across the board, do you expect prices to go back down to what they were in 2019? What would not just make you happy but what do you think can be accomplished by Trump?
Second question, how can Trump reduce prices across the board? It is not by drill baby drill so what is it you think he can do about prices? Labor costs have risen dramatically since 2020 and will not go back down. Just one example I know and see up close and personal, a local dump truck driver made $15 an hour in 2019, you are now lucky to get the same driver for $25 or even $30 and hour. That is a 67 to 100% increase in cost that is not going back down.
Drill baby drill isn't going to do it. Oil and gas prices right now are about as low as you should reasonably expect barring another flood of oil from the Middle East. Natural gas especially. They may not be at the cost of production but they are about as low as anyone in business can accept and generate enough for reinvestment. Adjusted for just normal 3% inflation oil and gas prices are dirt cheap. What we really need and crave are steady prices but those will not ever happen again as long as there are futures trades. Dirt cheap may not be the case for prices at the pump, the home burner tip or at the light switch. Those prices are based on the raw material plus the value added steps of refining, marketing, transportation and generation. The oil and gas producer does not control those. Still, that said, prices at the pump are still close to tracking the relationship to oil prices at the wellhead. Drilling more produces more but I doubt it alone will drive prices much lower or can for very long. Don't believe me? Spend some time in the historical EIA data. I don't make it up.
Realize, inflation is too many dollars chasing too few goods but there is also a limit on the number of goods we can consume, that can be manufactured and how low prices can go based on the cost of production.
