Developing nuclear anti-satellite weapon?
Does anyone believe that the U.S. and Russia haven't had such weapons since the 1960s?
Look up Starfish Prime...and these were relatively small
devices.

I think we are already at the point a few countries could wreak havoc over a good part of the civilized world.
Maybe we should try diplomacy.
I heard that peace and prosperity is a pretty good thing.
I hear that there are a number of influential people who want most oof us dead.

There would be no satellites in operation - the world would be back at a 1950s style military.
Why would that be, Chickensoup?
In space no one can hear you fart.
kinda like the so-called “Rods from God” - but with nukes.....
Kessler Syndrome is a nightmare space scenario in which the number of satellites and orbital debris is so high that collisions occur, each one generating more and more space debris and, in turn, cascading collisions.
The U.S. must take action now

How about stop poking the Bear?
Yup that space SHIP sailed a long time ago.
gonna need some “Space Cowboys” to take care of that bidness!
Remember that Bush pulled out of the ABM treaty. Prolly thought Russia couldn't do anything about it. Our nuclear arms industry is about as badly off as our non-nuclear defense industry. For those who would argue look at the history of Sentinel, the Minuteman replacemnt and then look at what Russia has been doing. It's like Teddy Roosevelt went trans and said walk loudly and carry a wet noodle.
I have an idea to address the Kessler Syndrome that I want to pitch to Elon Musk as I think he would be the fastest to implement it. version a involves the current situation and the fact we already have debris causing damage. version b would be for when things get out of control.
There is abelief among them that the planet’s true carrying capacity is about 900million people.
