Developing nuclear anti-satellite weapon?
Does anyone believe that the U.S. and Russia haven't had such weapons since the 1960s?
Look up Starfish Prime...and these were relatively small
devices.

I think we are already at the point a few countries could wreak havoc over a good part of the civilized world.
Maybe we should try diplomacy.
I heard that peace and prosperity is a pretty good thing.
There would be no satellites in operation - the world would be back at a 1950s style military.
kinda like the so-called “Rods from God” - but with nukes.....
The U.S. must take action now

How about stop poking the Bear?
gonna need some “Space Cowboys” to take care of that bidness!
When aliens see us nuking the outer space around our planet, they’ll realize how batshit crazy we are and leave us alone.
So It’s all good!!!
Russia will do what it wants and America as well. Hopefully the know to leave each other alone. Both know if they got along the Military Industrial Complex would be PISSED!!
So they choose to pretend!!
This didn’t address the physics of a nuclear or atomic detonation in space. Would a shock wave exist in a vacuum? The fireball would be large and lethal, but in what diameter per kiloton or megaton of power? Would the residual radiation present a hazard to passing satellites or manned spacecraft, and for how long?
If a EMP was set off 300 miles above Kansas it would decimate most of the country. 90% of the population would die in the first year.
No one is going to detonate a nuclear weapon in space.
This is the same nonsense that said North Korea was going to launch missiles at us.
Relax.
I remember 1962 when the US set off a nuke bomb in space. It was in the news as “It created a new Van Allen Radiation Belt around the earth!”
