Dr. Ben Carson was recently interviewed by Newsmax’s Katrina Szish and was asked if he has been in talks with President Trump about being a possible running mate.
Szish asked Dr. Carson, “Have you talked to President Trump about the potential of being his running mate?”
Carson responded, “We’ve talked about many things but not that particular topic.”

Donald Trump is already pitbull personified. Normally a ticket looks for balance and the thought of flipping Michigan is alluring. I can’t honestly state a preference, except to steer clear of another Pence type Establishment Republican politician. And at least Carson isn’t (it seems) one of those.
Perfect balance for the bombastic Trump

Agree
In politics there is such a thing as being too nice a guy.
That may be generally true, but in this case the R party needs uniting. Trump, hands down is the pit bull and the voters love that. Calm, loyal, very intelligent Carson who knows the swamp pretty well could play the good cop in trying to bring the R's together.
Prime him for 2028 and equip him with a pit bull VP.
Ben is a good man but a warrior he is not. We need a fire breather and a warrior who will be around for a long time and one who understands what is wrong with this country at a very deep level. Only Vivek G Ramaswamy is that warrior.
General Flynn

Bull! Vivek is a brown third worlder who’s not eligible. His parents weren’t even naturalized US citizens when he was born. The founders of White European heritage would never approve if they were alive.
“Vivek is a brown third worlder”
Take your racist crap shove it where the sun don’t shine. Once upon a time you Stormfronters would have zotted from this site .
He’s too nice a guy for that job. We need an SOB who can compete in 2028 and assist with swamp drainage.
This is your opinion. We got Cheney under W and what good was that? He was a deep-stater.
I actually cannot think of where your example is correct in the last 50 years besides Cheney.
I only answered why Carson wouldn’t work as a VP. He’s not aggressive enough. He’d make a great secretary for healthcare or his last portfolio of housing, if he’s willing to serve.
I understand that most politicians since the 1950’s have not been serving the people.
I don’t think Carson would work, just because of who he is. A politician, like Tim Scott, would be better because he’s much more aggressive.
Thank you for your opinion and spirited debate.
