Dr. Ben Carson was recently interviewed by Newsmax’s Katrina Szish and was asked if he has been in talks with President Trump about being a possible running mate.
Szish asked Dr. Carson, “Have you talked to President Trump about the potential of being his running mate?”
Carson responded, “We’ve talked about many things but not that particular topic.”

Thank God they didn't discuss it! He would not make a good choice. Plus the brilliant founders wouldn't want him as a Vice President or even President.

Ben is a great choice...calm, from Michigan with a cheerful disposition.
I remember during the 2016 primary debate where Trump let Ben go ahead of him before going on stage. That dufus Bush basically pushed Ben aside on the way out. Showed me a lot about the character of two great men. Bush, not so great. Please clap.
He has a weak personality. We need to get away from diversity vice presidents and presidents no matter which party they’re in.

And that’s the problem. We need a VP who has an attitude that will strike fear into our enemies if they had to take over if something happened to Trump.

I’ve heard BC mention that incident, and that formed his positive opinion of Trump. It’s the little things...

He’d be no different than weakling Bobby Jindal giving the GOP response to Obama’s state of the union.
He would be best of the present field. He could be the velvet glove on Trump’s hammer policies.
There is no one, except Sowell, who could better articulate how Democrat policies have grievously harmed black inner cities.

That’s what we see now, but there could be a real badass lurking underneath. Even if he’s not in your face, steadfastness and basic strength are assets.
But he’s not flashy like Trump. Who knows what kind of job he do?

Rubbish! If he had real baddass in himself lurking he would have released it when he ran for president in 2016. He didn’t!

That’s true. He didn’t.
He’s a brilliant man, and a good guy. But he’s too weak. He’s like Tim Scott, but with twice the brain cells.
The VP is supposed to be a pit bull position. The President is a statesman and the VP is the one that goes into battle with his teeth bared. That’s how it always has been, because the American people want the President to be a uniter.
Ben is too calm for that. I’d gladly give him a secretary position, however.
Doctors tend to pick up on the little details because patients appreciate them.
I hold Carson in high regard. I also have no say in the matter. However, Carson adds nothing to the ticket. Neither do any of the other candidates mentioned at other times and articles.
