Factchecking Biden And Krugman: AWFUL Jobs Situation And Re-accelerating Inflation (Food Prices UP 21% Under Biden, Food Spending As Share Of Disposable Income Hits 3 Decade High)

Cash on the barrelhead. To pay for outrageous inflation and food prices under Joe “Nero” Biden.

President Biden: “Inflation is the lowest it has been in nearly three years. And wages, wealth, and jobs are higher than they were before the pandemic.”

Paul Krugman, Nobel Laureate in economics and propaganda expert (ala, Leni Riefenstahl) pointed to this chart to illustrate that inflation is declining or at least hasn’t doubled under Biden, (although it looks like food prices are up 21% under Biden). Most elites won’t notice since someone does the shopping for them. Can you imagine Joe and Jill Biden at the local Kroger grocery store? Or Barrack and Mike Obama at the local grocery store on Martha’s Vineyard??

A counter to Biden’s and Krugman’s claims of “everything is peachy!” is that the situation is actually dire.

1. Prices have never been higher and are starting to accelerate to the upside again

2. All the jobs created in the past year have been part time.

3. There has been zero job growth for native-born Americans since 2018; all jobs have gone to immigrants (mostly illegal immigrants)

4. Real wages have not only been negative for most of the Biden presidency, they just turned negative again

In addition, food spending’s share of disposable income is at its highest in three decades.

Nero supposedly fiddled while Rome was burning. Joe “Nero” Biden eats ice cream while the USA burns.

One thing not mentioned here is credit card interest. Monthly payments that in ‘20 would pay off debt in 12 months barely cover the minimum monthly payment today on the same account.

Gasoline prices are higher than they’ve ever been before here in the Cleveland area.

the metric of inflation is obviously archaic and meaningless. Now the government just hides behind its own rigged statistic that has little relevance to our year over year cost of living. my Food and fuel costs amount to 30-40% more than when Trump was in office. That’s huge when those two expenditure categories account for 30% of my total cost of living.

Under Trump, prices went way down. Now look at them. Can you say FED rate hike?

food prices are up 21% under Biden

Where we live and the groceries that we buy... it is at least 50%.

Biden isn’t fiddling. He is pouring the fuel on the corpse of America and throwing lit matches everywhere he can.

And Bidenflation using new Biden standards of measurements. One Biden Pound is 12 ounces. One Biden Quart is 1 1/2 pints. A Biden six pack is 4 cans and a Biden 12 pack is now 8 cans. A Biden 50 lb bag of animal feed is now 35 lbs. every food staple is easily double what it was pre Chomo Joe.

I just returned a few minutes ago from my local Shop Rite supermarket and spent THE most amount of money I’ve EVER spent on groceries for just myself and my wife.

$292.47 cents!

This ahole is destroying everything!

I’d say our food bill is up at least 40%. Some basic items are still over 50% up. Others are not quite so bad — for example, Wally World’s canned green beans are only up ~20%. But... We’ve just simply minimized or cut out many items. Too expensive, and we were never consumers of really expensive foods anyway, other than a lot of the imported stuff my Filipina wife says she can’t live without... “Her” canned food and frozen seafood, etc., costs twice my food. But even she mostly tries to find cheaper brands, stores, swap veggies with friends*, etc.

*We could do more of that if I could figure out why our “Opo” did so poorly the last 2 years... Or send wifey off with tomatos more often. :-)

Some prices are bizarre. A couple weeks ago, raw frozen shrimp in a 2 lb. bag @ WW were cheaper than most any non-breaded frozen fish in the place, except maybe the tilapia...

I'd say our food bill is up at least 40%. Some basic items are still over 50% up. Others are not quite so bad — for example, Wally World's canned green beans are only up ~20%.

My wife practically lives on Italian Green Beans from Walmart. Please check my math...

Here the price at Walmart has gone from $.59 for a can of Italian Green Beans two years ago to $1.06 now. The way to calculate the percentage increase is to subtract the original price $.59 from the current price $1.06 = $.47 Then divide the difference, $.47 by the original price $.59 = .796 then multiply by 100 to get the percentage = a 79.6% price increase for Italian Green Beans.

Many items here have more than doubled. Many people think that doubling is a 50% price increase but it is actually a 100% price increase. Our food bill has gone up by approximately 50% because we too have had to become very budget conscious; my pension has a cost-of-living increase that is capped at 3% per year.
